Uh... weed has changed me, but for the better. Anyways, if you are high all the time whereas before you were always sober, than your friends, will definitely notice the difference.

I guess this hasn't happened to me, because I rarely get high around my friends that don't smoke.

This probably doesn't help much. sorry I am kind of high right now, not so coherent.

Yes, all the time. Many of my friends who are non-smokers will be quick to give me dirty looks when someone I smoke with shows up and we begin to talk about bud and such. But I try to ignore it. Also, there have been many times where I've actually got some haters to smoke and they've enjoyed it so much they completely shut up. For instance one of my friends who I have known since I was 1 never smoked and always looked down on me because I did. But last month him and I smoked and now everytime he visits he never turns down a good bowl. Bottom line, just ignore and try not to get too worked up about it.

My co-workers say I have a wonderful personality. I am calm and loving 99.9% of the time and I work in a very high stress environment (Special Education). What they don't know is that I am stoned almost all of the time I'm not at work- I'm a MMJ user. Cannabis has been a part of my life since I was 19- I'm now 60. I get that shit all the time...all of my friends are uptight and don't understand, they think drinking is good 'cause their yuppie parents do it every night to make their miserable lives easier... they brag about underage drinking like it's something to be proud of.

If I offer them a bowl, or mention I'm off to have one, it all changes, "You're so stupid, you're going to die, it's killing your brain cells, you've changed, you're not the same person anymore."

I was just thinking about this earlier and thinking about posting a topic on it... how weed HAS changed you, for the better. I don't really get it, but now it's all about love, happiness, having a good time, connecting with people.

Before it was work, homework, stuff, money, etc...
Those things are still all there, they just happen and don't bother me anymore. And it just keeps getting better! Does anyone else feel this too?

I haven't had any of my friends look down on me for smoking weed, because the friends that find out that I smoke weed occasionally and don't talk to me anymore or act different around me when I'm with them or talking to them and I'm not high, I don't even bother to deal with anymore. If they think that they're better than me because I smoke weed, then they aren't worth my time. I've had a few "friends" that have done with. I don't smoke around them and don't force them to smoke, but they know I smoke and they don't talk to me anymore or act different with me and tell me the same shit that's been said in this thread. Fuck them.

Yeah, I got this from a couple of my mates, thank god I'm not alone. The usual, 'you've changed' and stuff but I don't think I really did change. My lifestyle revolved more around weed, I didn't change into some monster or robot lol.

My best friend isn't a smoker so I guess I kinda understand where he's coming from.

People who smoke pot are MORE under scrutiny than anyone else so I think we have to be more open minded towards others, including sober fuckers.

I get a lot of people assuming that I have changed in a bad way with my pot smoking. I tend to think its the complete opposite, so I don't give a flying shit what anybody else thinks.
On the other hand though, I see a lot more people being more open to marijuana. A lot of people are being more liberal about it. Its about damn time I say, marijuana is truely and amazing herb.:hippy:

I've never had anybody tell me that "weed's changed me". I do occasionally get somebody feeding me this anti-smoking bullshit, and I quickly shut that down by either not talking to them anymore, or by making it obvious how much of a fuck I don't give about what they're saying.

Most of my friends that don't smoke are stoners, ex-stoners, and/or do other drugs, so they have no room to talk. My family, and co-workers are really the only people I associate with that I'm not open about my marijuana use to.

I've only been smoking daily for about two months, but I don't think I've changed much and nobody has said anything. Only one of my friends knows that I smoke daily (my roommate), and he doesn't smoke. My girlfriend doesn't even know I smoke daily, I'm afraid she would get mad. She has smoked with me before, but only maybe once a month and just with friends. I only smoke at night and I'm never stoned around people (unless they are smoking too), I just do it to relax, it feels nice and puts me to bed. I do notice some stupid short term memory stuff just after I smoke (but after I'm stoned), but if I take a break, that goes away. Also, my wallet has noticed a change haha.

Weed changed me... for far better! Im a much calm person, much more relaxed, dont worry about anything, much more easygoing than i was, much more social, far more content about life, and so... in fact, i can say today im a very happy person, thanks to the weed.
Looking back, im sure if i hadnt started to smoke, i would have killed someone, or even myself. So, i can say the weed had indeed a very beneficial effect on me.

Yeah, my Christian ex girlfriend tried to tell me Ive changed and stuff. Needless to say, it didn't work out. I don't really hide that I smoke anymore, because it just leads to bigger problems down the road with relationships anyway. And, I wouldnt give up marijuana for any woman. Marijuana rarely lets me down. Marijuana never yells at me or complains when I fart. You guys catch my drift.

When people criticize users of marijuana, I think it's usually ignorance. I've noticed (but wasnt surprised) that many of you people here aren't what people would consider the typical stoner. And, when some non-users think marijuana they associate a lack of production. Anyway, it's just about smoke time for me.

Yes, weed has changed me. However, it has been significantly for the better. I used to be such a negative person, hating how quickly life went by without me doing what I enjoyed. I'm considered a "high-achieving" student at one of the top magnet schools in the country (USA), so I spend a lot of time preparing for college and shit. That wastes so much of time and thinking, that I think I would've gone crazy if I didn't smoke on a regular basis. While I don't have the cash to smoke everyday (I don't currently have a job), I still toke up any time I have a chance, and I love it. :bonghit:

I'm able to deal with my back pain effectively, and it prevents my add and ocd from affecting my daily life..It has opened my eyes to so many things, music especially...and the government's way of operating...lie to the people to get done what they want done. so many things, marijuana is definitely one of the best species of plant on this earth, not to mention the most useful...
