All my night shift workers give me a holla!
Where do you work nights? How many hours? How do you deal with your day life?
I work anywhere from 8-16 hour shifts at my hospital on nights, sometimes evening shifts, too. I like nights.
I find it can be difficult to fall asleep when I get home; it feels like I had waay too much caffeine when I don't drink any coffee or anything like that. It helps immensely to get me to sleep in the morning if I smoke a small bowl and go to sleep... I wake up feeling great!

I've worked 20 years of terrible shifts and now my internal clock is so fucked up I can't get a decent nights sleep.I'm going to try and get some sleeping pills to see if I can get my body back on a normal sleep cycle. The only other way I can get any sleep is to drink myself unconcious.

My girlfriend has just applied for a place where she'd have to do night shifts... At least I'll get some time off, hahaha...

i'm pretty sure the interview i got is for night stocking, they have all these desperate flamboyant poster boards like three places within 3 feet of the door asking for night stockers...
i'm hoping.... not only does it pay well... but i tend to be a loner anyways so being a stocker is better then say, cashier, then of course, there's the fact that i can't keep a normal sleep schedule no matter what i do...
this job is like perfectly cut for me.

I like it, it's quiet, the patients don't bug me, I can read a good book, chill out, order out, ect.

I don't think I'd like that though I realize I'll most likely have to for a while when I finish medical school. It just seems to me how do you get stuff done at night like even as simple as errands and stuff..or dare I say entertainment that isn't a strip joint.
