First thing you have to do is get a pH tester and test your pH. You can get a pH test kit for under $10.

Oh, Sk8er, btw, DO NOT buy one of those cheap soil pH testers. They are useless. Get a kit for testing water.

another thing is...they were doing really really well, then i started 12/12 on monday to induce flowering....and that is when they started to "die" ; i dont know if that had any effect.

It looks like its needs nitrogen to me. Are any of the leafs on the bottom turning slight yellow?

1. Check your ph
2. buy CalMag AND your bloom nutes and keep them on hand for AFTER CHECKING AND STRAIGHTENING OUT YOUR PH. do NOT skip the ph step....or you may well be finishing them off.
3. PharmaCan mentioned somewhere to me the possibility of overwatering....which I never even considered since I grow hydro but is a very wise thought? Could it be the problem?

The droop looks quite likely over-watering related, but one of the great truths of indoor growing is that when you have a pH problem, soggy soil will make it OH so apparent SOOOO fast.
Liquid pH test kits are the way to go if you don't want to shell out for a quality meter.
And you will definitely need to feed bloom nutes.
