Im moving to Seattle for a job from Houston, TX and from what Ive heard Seattle is an incredible place to find some serious dank. Houston remains inudated with dirt.
Does anyone have any information about Seattle?

Well, a lot of the "BC bud" that comes from Canada goes thru Washington state, and Seattle is spoiled a little bit in quality bud. It probably wouldn't be the same if the mexican border was up there!
The weather is a lot nicer, as far as being comfortable as it would be front page headlines if it got over 85F around here. We have our rainy days, but then, that's what makes everything green.

But , of course, MJ is still illegal here as anywhere else in this country, only the Seattle citizens have voted for MJ possession to be the bottom of the list, which is great. The Hempfest here is the largest in the US with 150,000 people attending this year over a 2 day period. congrats, you will be in a great city!

Hey man, welcome. I also just moved up here from Houston (Sugarland area). Are you enjoying yourself so far?

Give me a shout out on AIM if you'd like.

I just moved to Seattle from Alaska. Though I am sure it will improve, all I have been able to find is very dry mids. The general public is much friendlier here than I expected, and there is certainly no excuse for boredom in this city.

Go over and cruise through the U- district and you should be able to get some better smoke and after that head to the Science Center for a midnight showing of Laser Floyd. If your brave drop a couple hits and see the show nothing like it. If you do go walk down in front and lay down its alot easier on your neck.

I checked out the U district and they do have very decent grass up there. It is much better than the garbage I have been finding in downtown and capitol hill. Thanks for the heads up on that.

However, I think I am done with the street deals for now. When I was in AK I always got it from close friends, which carried with it that feeling of safety. Now that I am in the metropolis, I nearly have a panic attack just trying to determine if my new found deal is on the level. There have been a few too close for comfort calls with the gestapo, even with I-75 in place.

I know this is highly personal and I am not writing this with the intention of dissuading people from commerce. To each their own as they say. I just thought I would share.

Thus why I posted about not buying in downtown and cap hill....

And I have yet to find a dealer that is so willing to destroy his/her business, to go to such lengths as lacing pot. If it doesnt smell right and look right, don't buy it. Its pretty common sense.

Read the WA forum threads and you will find everything you need, and then you can narrow your questions down to specifics.
