My plants have been on 12/12 for the last 17 days...well, they were supposed to be. I've just discovered that the overhead light in the walk-in closet that I'm using for a grow chamber has been on 24/7 for the last 2-3 days. It's a small 60w equivelent cfl. The plant are below a sheet of plywood that I'm using to hold the grow lights, so they weren't getting direct light from overhead. But it wasn't anywhere near dark, either :(.

How bad did I just screw myself?

turn the light off...any damage you did will fix itself in a cpl days.all you did is slow down your flower process a lil...no big deal.

I accidently knocked a segment of my timer on and my 600w came on for an hour, about 30 days into flower, and i got hermed! All the other variables were fine,water,ph,temps...
so im putting it down to that. But thats worst case,u might have only put them back a few weeks, good luck, peace,RM.

Only time will tell. It was a lower-powered light that was left on, so hopefully it didn't stress them into hermaphrodites (but then again, 3 days straight after 2 weeks of 12/12 could be rough).

Did you notice any difference in growth/state after those 3 days?

Wow this thread looks familiar. Oh wait! It's one of mine! It's also six weeks old ;)

Just in case anyone's curious. No harm was done. They didn't hermie. And they weren't set back at all, growth-wise. In fact they actually finished almost a week earlier than the breeder's recommendations suggested. So, all's well that ends well.

Not that I'd recommend anyone else try it :D.
