At 3000k, that would be a bulb for flowering, as it emits the correct colour spectrum. However, at 40w, you would need quite a few of them, dependent on the size of your grow space.

Unless your growspace is like 15 inches square, then you're gonna need a bit more light...

40 watts for flowering? I guess, maybe if you get 10 of them.
