Not calling you a liar or anything but they look more like day 27 then day 17. And if in fact it is day 17, I think you need to post a grow log so people can learn from you cause they look way too good to be at day 17. Good job, either way they look great.

Can you post pics of day 10 - 14? I am asking cause I am at day 13 in FL and my ladies just started showing sex at day 10. I don't think mine will look like yours day 17 until day 25-27. Based off of previous grows. I need to know what your doing to get the results you are. Keep up the posts. Thanks.

Hey Nice looking plants!!!! Was wondering what size your grow area is? i.e. 6x6x7... And you said you have 1800 watts, is that 3 x 600watt HPS? Just curious about your set up.:) laterz..

Nice looking plants man!!! You will have to give us a detailed report on it after harvest. Im very interested in seeing the final harvest numbers. What are you going for? About 3-4 oz per plant? I am about to set up my 9 bucket DWC system and am starting with 1 1000 HPS, and moving another one in there right as i start flowering. So our grow rooms are very similar. Any suggestions on running 9 DWC buckets at once? Are you using a controller with a res, or just topping the buckets off your self? Thanks for the reply and awesome post. Good luck, laterz..

Thanks megatron,
Because the plants are different sizes am aiming for about 27-30 oz from the lot.Am topping the res myself i trimmed the bottom 4-6 branches on all the plants to make it easier to access the res.If i use this system again i will make a recirculating one to save myself a lot of work topping up some are drinking 4-6 litres a day.
Take it easy:thumbsup:

I think 3-4 oz is an understatement, i think he could definitely get about 10 oz a plant! Some people pull 32 oz per plant in this same type of setup with less light!

Nice, real nice. I am a fellow AK-47 grower and enjoy similar results. I only have 8 plants in a stadium scrog under 600 watts though. What a wonderful strain. I highly reccommend to all except rain stricken outdoor growers (bud rot suspect). Just wait until harvest and you will have sugar coated nugs. Some of the leaves even get partially sugar coated.

On those outdoor ones, just remember to check them often once it starts raining. AK-47 Bud rot comes on quickly and destroys buds like crazy.

Good to see things are coming along well! I certainly hope for the best regarding harvest, hell im hoping for 5-6 per plant my self! And have successfully pulled 9 off of one plant under a 400 HPS. But running one bucket and running 9 buckets are two different ball games! IF all goes well, and there are no hick ups, then man the sky is the limit with harvests. As CDS said, people can pull all kinds of crazy numbers off when using DWC.
Regarding your system, you could just add a 55 gal res, and a $30 controller. The controller is easy to build man! You just get a floater valve, like the ones on a toilet, and install into a 5 gal bucket right at what you want the water level to be. Run all the buckets off of this controller, and the controller off of the 55 gal res. Make sure the res sits higher than the controller and the buckets so that it well do its job right. Also make sure the controller is same level as all the buckets. This set up is how im doing mine, and it tops the plants off for you, that way you dont have to do it your self ever day!!! Its not recirculating, but it helps with the topping off daily task! Also make sure that the res is PH'd, NO NUTE water. Just like what you use to top off the plants now! :) laterz..

Hi all,
opie yutts thanks for the warning on the rot on my outdoors ak it had just started caught it in time and saved about 85%.The 1 i left two flower naturally i have bought it in doors and put it under a 600w hps light.I only ended up with 3oz of the plant with bud rot but better than nothing. :)
Hi, Megatron thanks for the kind words am going to make the system a recirculating 1 i just wanted to see what yield i get to see if am going to stick with this system or go with flood and drain i have already done NFT and thought that was good just trying to see witch system is best for me. :)
Here are a few pics of the 9 ladies 5 weeks in flower i have just added pk13/14 first time using this and i noticed today the plants have drunk 10 litres more than they normally do.
