It's good, and super efficient (I'd say 4 times more efficient than a bong), and good for your lungs.

It's just kind of a hassle. It takes like five minutes from start to finish, when a bong would be 1 minute until you put it away.

I made one and I have mixed feelings on it.

On one hand, it DOES get me high. On the other hand, it doesn't get me stoned. So while it's doing less damage to my lungs and doesn't smell so much, it's basically rendering itself impractical to myself. I have a small bowl that gets me stoned as hell, is quicker, more concealable, and not as "funny looking" as my light-bulb vape (ever want to get laughed at by your friends, show them your ghetto vape).

I still like to have it because I like to get high in different ways, but I don't get the huge high that everyone else seems to get from vaping. I'm really wanting to just get a good electronic vape (maybe a Volano) so that I can see what all the fuss is about.

Man, I made a lightbulb vape.. it was alright, the high.. Kinda the same for me except about twice as high, like the weed was twice as good in the vape.. But I hated the fucker coz it tasted like shit..anyone else's bulb vapes taste like shit?

Vapes have an almost popcorn/hay taste to them. Lightbulb vapes are nice for a while (mine worked well) but you definitely need a good vape. I have a vapo bros. and I love it I'm hitting it right now as I'm typing and it is amazing.

Dr.Hashman, yeah, it did kinda taste like badly burnt popcorn/hay, kind of a hard taste to place though..Do all lightbulb vapes taste like that, or can you prepare it in a different way or use a special lightbulb that doesnt make it taste so bad?

U sure u cleaned out the bulb properly. There's alot of harsh chemicals inside of those things that you're DEFINITELY not supposed to smoke!

Probably didn't, just washed it out quite thoroughly with salt water and scrubbed it a little.. Better ways?

when i made mine a while ago when i was lighting it it would always get black residue where i was lighting... mind you i was using a lighter... but i would have to keep whiping it and i don't think it worked very well in the first place... idk i would like to try a good one too

actually that carbon is caused by the yellow part of the flame, so a candle should produce just as much black as a lighter. Try using a butane lighter or keeping the lighter close so you only see a blue flame.

From what i know you're supposed to put salt into the bulb and shake it around and it acts as an abrasive which removes the powder. Not sure if salt water would work the same or not.

Or you could use a clear bulb. Probably would be safer that way.

And doesn't the black smudge form on the outside of the bulb if you hold the lighter too close? Try holding it further away from the bulb, if it's blackening the bulb, you're probably scorching your weed too.
