All i can say is yes...had two plants that each had 4-6 colas and all were atleast 12 in. long...biggest buds i've ever had indoors...very shocked at the yield which was very surprising considering its some potent product

Hey all, got some white widow that i'll be germing soon...was wondering what the average flowering time is for those who've grown Nirvana's White Widow...their site says 8/9 weeks but most varieties of widow seem to say 9/10 weeks...any idea why there's a difference would be nice?

Well, all I can tell you on that is two things--you prolly already know them both:
1. With differing genetics of the same name, flowering time may vary slightly.
2. You can harvest whenever YOU want. You just decide what type of high you want and let the trichomes tell you when it's time. Every respondant may tell you something a little bit different as far as when THEY harvested, simply because they like a different high.
I know, I know, you already knew all that. Threw it out there anyway. If nothing else, its worth a bump on your thread.

Well i'm looking for more of a couch-lock smoke which would mean that i'm aiming for 10 weeks...really looking for a killer smoke and am in no hurry when it comes to flowering times...i generally add a week to the breeders recommended time in order to maximize the couch-lock effect and what i honestly believe are plants that become more resinous-n-sticky icky...just like i like it...so i'm gonna aim for 70 days and see how the plants grow...gonna add some hashberry and a nl/sensi star mix and take em all to bout 63-70 days...thinking the widows will take the longest

ive been growing it for about a year and a half now. clones good. i let mine go for 72 days from the first sign of sex. mostly cloudy trics. with just a few amber.had a few friends say its the best they ever had. the pics above look more of a sativa pheno. the ones i grow lean more to the indica pheno.cant go wrong with it. germ all 10 seeds and you will probally find a good keeper pheno.

Nirvana ? ... ya get what ya pay for ... I was disappointed in my Dutch Passion White Widow, piss-poor yield, decent potency, but not great ... I will get Joey Weed's White Widow soon, as he is the only source I know of, for the Original White Widow, the strain Shantibaba developed when at Greenhouse years ago ... it's the one that won all the Cups, the present version is NOT the same ... :smokin:

No disrespect image reaper but i disagree with you to an extent...i've used Nirvana in the past and have been amazed at some of the pheno's i've got...now in some respect u get what u pay for but on a tight budget you can get some damn good strains...i've grown their Bubble gum and had a terrific sativa-pheno that was pink and completely covered in crystals (knocked me out at 9wks flowering) also i've grown their AK-48 and not one pheno was bad...3 sativa pheno's and 2 indica...the 2 indica's finished in less than 8 wks and were very couch-lock...got that lucky cherry-sativa pheno that had an enormous yield and a soaring high (some one hit quitter bud)...some ppl knock their strains and i understand why (f-2's, not much stability unless u stick to the basics, and sometimes a mutant here or there) but as a beginner they're some great genes to practice with...i've grown Mandala also and would say they do beat nirvana when it comes to uniformity and ease of growth but then again nirvana has some narcotic strains that Mandala has not yet produced...and i mean no disrespect to Mandala because they're plants are an absolute pleasure to grow...but if u want some NL, WW, WR, Afghan, ak-48 and u're low on cash nirvana has some good strains...just my 2 cents

I wasn't knocking Nirvana so much, when I say 'ya get what ya pay for' , I mean, don't be upset if you aren't happy ... I've seen lots of growers very happy with what they got from Nirvana, Dr. Chronic, etc ... even bagseed has potential, jewels can be found
