I have been infested with corn borers- losing a lot of plants well into flower- if i use a pyrethrin wash to cleanse the soil will this hurt the plants or will the plants pull the insecticide into the buds through the root system and i will eventually enhale them- will have to do this today or possibly lose my entire crop need advice

I don't know how it functions as a soil drench - whether it can be taken up into the plant, my hunch is to say it is safe- but of the insecticides commonly used on cannabis, pyrethrin is one of the safest. It breaks down very fast.
Rhizome is our resident pesticide dude. I'll see if I can scare him up for a second opinion, lol.

Stinky , thanks as always for your reply- I will wait until I here more or tomorrow go for it and try the pyrethtrin if I can find it - I have looked several places this AM but will go to Knoxville a larger city this PM and try and find it there

Would neem oil work on them? Neem has pretty much delivered me from pest hell.
I have read of using neem oil on soil.
