Mastodon man, especially watching their videos, they're really trippy especially seabeast. Really cool stuff when you're blazed. Opeth is also a pretty crazy band to listen to when you're blazed. That's all I can think of now :thumbsup:

you know how (especially in the later stages) metalheads either go twards metalcore, black metal, or death metal? well, I am really into death metal, especially tech and brutal death. I am generally open to anthing, but for a while I have thought that the metalcore scene has gotten especially whimpy lately. any thoughts?

not a fan of death metal, but i will agree with you that metalcore can lean toward the "whimpy" side as you put it....thats because there is a little bit of emo influence on the metalcore scene....actually probably more than a little bit but ya


thats why my favorite bands, while considered metalcore, are some of the heavist and most boaderline out there in the genre...killswitch engage and chimaira being two
