So we have a beautiful plant about 4-5 weeks into flower, many great looking big full bud sites, pretty healthy aside from some yellowing, but when smelling the bud bouquet style up in it, there's a very specific moldy cheese stink. Not anything like the typical bad "skunk" smell or harsh spiciness that some plants can have.

No ill affects, but man does it smell pretty bad.

Anyone else ever have a plant like this? I know I'm worrying for nothing but it sure confuses me.

flush the soil, maybe to many nutrients are getting backed up in it

There are strains that smell like cheese, salami, even rotting meat.

Weed that smells like rotting meat? That's just wrong on so many levels.

Trainwreck. Honestly. Demeter grows it. Her house smells funky when that shit is blooming. Like rotting meat, but the flavor of the bud is distinct garlic salami. Mm mm good.
And it is TRUE giggly twigs.

I love the smell of decaying salami in the morning:D

It's worth the stank! And it does cover up that distinctive weed smell, so now the UPS guy just thinks we don't take our garbage out soon enough!
