Lowryder 2 - Giving Off Fumes !!

My lowryder 2 is just over 2 weeks old , it is currently on its 3rd node ,

(i only have 1 female out of 10 seeds) - wasnt amused for £45!!:smokin:

it is placed in my growroom with my rhino's, we all know the 'plant' smell all plants give off , but this morning i noticed my lowryder 2 has started giving off a proper skunky smell.

How is this possible when there are no apparent flowers etc , it is still very small.
Also does anyone know if male lowryder plants give off a skunky smell.:thumbsup:

dude you gotta give ppl time. i check the boards regularly but i dont live on it.. as far as askin does anyone grow... do you? ive had plants turn danky at young ages before. my current papaya grow i had to flip the ozone on at about 3 weeks veg because they were smelling dank-o-licious. it happens... i dunno.

sorry for your bad luck, but dont toss it out as a total loss. polinate the lowrider you have... as a ruderalis your cant clone it so think of this grow as a seed grow so you dont have to spend the money for more lowrider seeds?

There are volatile oils in the leaves of the plant that will give off that skunky smell. It usually tends to happen when it's hotter, or you disturb the leaves...

There are posts all over on making a carbon scrubber.

Prett easy and cheap too.

Dude... you didn't even wait 30 minutes for your question to get answered.

Anyways, I just got finished growing the original Lowryder for my first grow, and yes.. after about 2.5 weeks I could smell a very faint skunky smell if I got up close, before she even showed her sex. I'm not sure about the male plants because I didn't have any (I got lucky)... but my female stunk before her flowers showed. Don't know why, but it was kinda nice. :)

My Lowryder really didn't even stink that much either during flower.. wasn't any need for a scrubber, only time you could smell her was when the cab was opened.
