man... how can you say it? Does the coffee where you live is that bad? I like very much the taste of coffee... unfortunately i cant drink it very much, as it makes me VERY energetic (like if i had snorted or somewhat like), and i dont like it... unless i have to wake up early and do lots of things... then a cup of coffee is a good thing for fighting off the sleepiness...

they sell 'em in stores here, you don't have to go to star bucks to get one, but yes, the ones from starbucks themselves have creame and what not on 'em

how can i say that? well coffee tastes like ass to me... it's bitter... doesn't matter how good or fresh it is, it's just not my thing... i REALLY hate bitterness... even slight bitterness in foods drives me from them. no matter how much seasoning it has to cover it..

i just hate bitter.

well... i hate bitterness too... thats why i put several (and i mean SEVERAL) spoons of sugar in the coffee... like 1/3 of the height of the cup... thats how i overcome the bitterness, and can drink the coffee.

if i gotta put thta much sugar in it, it's not even worth my time :p all that sugar makes me sick

also, at that point you're not drinking coffee with sugar, you're just having you a nice cup of sugar with a couple spoonfuls of coffee.

I'm not a coffee aficionada, either. In the wintertimes I sometimes have a cup of weak instant coffee with lots of creamer and sweetner, but I prefer tea or Diet Coke to get my caffeine jolt. Coffee is so strong and fragrant. To me, going down the coffee aisle in the grocery is gross because the smell of ground coffee is so strong. I do NOT get the whole worldwide obsession with Starbucks or gourmet cofee, and I cannot understand why anyone would pay $4 for a cup of something that costs .03 cents to make.

o.0 i love the smell of coffee grounds...

i just can't stand the taste of it lol

oh BG, try you a mocha frapachino (get one from the grocery store/conveince store)

it's actually EXTREMELY good... if it weren't so expensive i'd probbaly drink those all day instead of coke/beer

I love the taste of coffee but I can barely drink it, weird huh. Almost every time I have a cup of it I become extremely gittery and my stomach turns inside out so I am full of energy but I have to sit down to keep from getting a panic attack. Now I can drink a ton of diet coke or energy drinks and get the same amount of caffeine and not become gittery. My body must be more sensitive to the caffeine from coffee than other sources, who knows. It might be the other xanthines in it that I am overly sensitive to.

There is a new coffee that sells for $200 a pound.

Monkey, bird, cat, chubacabra, I'm not drinking any coffee pressed from a bean that has been through the digestive tract of an animal. Well maybe Scarlett Johansson.

They call them civet-cats because cats are what they most resemble, even though they belong to a slightly different family and genus from felidae.

I'd watch out for the civet-cat coffee (not that anyone can afford it anyway). Those animals are the ones that have been associated with the SARS virus! Yet another reason to drink Diet Coke. . . .

yeah i agree.. did you check the prices people pay for that crap (no pun intended, really :D) tho?

Actually forget coffee.. Have any of you ever tried acahi (im not sure about spelling but it's pronounced a sa he) It's these berrys you can blend into a drink and it's absolutely delicious, and has way more of a kick than any coffee or espresso. They sell them at a local coffe chain around here. My freind is a manager at one location and gets me them for free.

My girlfriend has A.D.H.D. and reacts to coffee the same way.

I like Colombian, French Roast, and that special dark blend. I always buy French Vanilla creamer to go in it.

I do a 12 cup pot of coffee every morning.... my coffee of choice is Community Between Roast. Its somewhere between Folgers and a good dark roast. Unfortunately, once you get more than about 3 or 4 hundred miles from New Orleans, it starts to become pretty scarce.

I love the SB's stuff...but I got sick of paying $4 for it...so I done some online recipe searchin' and found myself a delish one. It's a powdered mix so I can scoop out enough for a tall cup and add hot water...or my favorite in summertime... a glass, whiz it up in the blender w/ some low fat milk, and lots of ice...Of course you can and I sometimes do add a little chocolate syrup and/or whipped cream...for a sweeter version.. and it only cost pennies! Just as delicious as SB's and easy on my $$.

I'm a coffee drinker. Name brands aren't a huge deal to me. As long as it is strong coffee, then I'm not too picky.

I do keep Folger's in my place though. It's good and cheaper than most other brands. Every so often I'll grab a coffee at this small company that roasts its own beans and all. It is very strong coffee but expensive.

I know it, the "açaÃ*"... its pretty common here in brasil. I never tried it myself, as im rather difficult to experiment new foods, or drinks, or whatever. Anyway, people here loves it also.

I like Community Coffee New Orleans blend with chicory. I do not care much for the mocha, java, latte stuff where they add a bunch of flavors to it. I like coffee that is coffee flavored. If I want a Snicker's bar, I'll get one seperately. :)

Besides, that espresso stuff is just NASTY if you drink a shot of it, but damn do you get wired!

same here. at least one cup a morning, black. you drinking coffee. people are saying they dont get black coffee and how it tastes bad. personally i dont get a shitload of cream and sugar in the morning. save desert for the evening. it is a truly acquired taste. no one likes their first ever cup, just like no one likes their first ever beer. but it grows on you. those are the only two 100% faiolsafe acquired tastes i am aware of, coffee and beer.

I LOVE coffee. It's the 1st thing I drink in the morning and the last thing I drink at night.
My favorite is a caramel macchiato. With extra caramel. It cost $ 5.00 though so I usually stick to my regular drip-coffee.

i mainly drink coffee when i'm at work, cuz waking up at 6 in the morning SUCKS and seeing as i'm not a morning person, i need something to attempt to wake my ass up. any type of coffee is fine.....i like capppucinos, though. mmm french vanilla. when i go to starbucks, i like getting a white chocolate mocha or [like happiestmferoutthere] a caramel macchiato, with extra caramel, of course. and then other shit like frappucinos. :] i likes to try new things there.

I enjoy espresso, black - mostly because it has a high caffeine content. But lately I've been drinking Kava Kava. I do enjoy cappuccinos, and other good, flavored coffee like that too. Frappuccinos from Starbucks.

Every morning at work I drink a single cup of an awesome mix of stuff. I take a packet of hot chocolate and mix in three French Vanilla and three Hazelnut creamers. I then put an unspecified amount of sugar, but it is a fairly large amount considering the size of the foam cup used. I then stir that up, and then put Starbucks Breakfast Blend coffee in and stir again. Other than that I don't drink coffee because it tastes gross.

Although I don't enjoy drinking coffee...

Surprisingly it is excellent when smoked.

Burns smooth and has a nice taste.

I was at my friends house when it was his birthday. We had been at it for at least an hour trying to get some bud, however the town was dry. In an act of desperation, one person rolled himself a joint of coffee and began smoking it. Being there at the time of the incident, I decided to give it a try.

However, who knows what the health effects could be.
