Would the U.S. defoliate its own national forests if wild cannabis growth grew out of control?

Unlikely, but you might see chain gangs come back.

Besides, we are all amotivated, apathetic, lazy, couch potato stoners who couldn't possibly get it together enough to plant the forests. We are all going to just sit back and eat Doritos all day and just dump our seeds down the toilet! Only the industrious illegal Mexicans working for drug cartels can get enough energy together to plant cannabis in the forests! And besides every joint you smoke is a buck in Ben Ladin's pocket- Don't you know that? Pot growers are all terrorists! The prezident dun said so! ;) - Granny:hippy:

ps- Seeds are for planting!

umm, did you forget which country your asking about? They'd log every tree on the planet if a couple of choice corporations said it was good for their profits this year.
