Anyone ever smoke bud then went right to sleep? I think it would be cool and i would have really good sleep, maybe even wake up stoned. Anyway, post anything about the subject, im interested in trying it.

no you dont wake up high if you get a nice night of sleep a little burnt sometimes depending on indica/sativa...but ive done it before on purpose...if i had something really important to do early the next day and i dont want to stress about it ill smoke a joint or a couple bowls then laid down in bed and watch tv til i pass out which isnt long

I've tried it countless times. You do sleep much better, but don't believe that your always going to be up and at em' the next day. I usually feel a bit groggy after a high nap, but a cup of coffee will kick you out of it.

Ah well my plan was to find one the worked right for me, like try a few and see which on worked best. I am mainly a recreation smoker. But sometimes at night I get these really weird leg cramp type thing, Its not really a cramp its just like the pain from it from my knee to my thigh, so I am wanting to smoke so that doesn't keep me up.

i have problems falling asleep. medications dont work, so i smoke. being stoned while sleeping promotes dreams, i think. :upsidedow

Why waste the high if you're sleeping?
Have fun and then when you start feeling burnt out, then sleep. It's what I usually do.

I always smoke to help me sleep. Usually I try to smoke an hour before I want to sleep.

When I first started smoking, if I were to go to bed high, or right after smoking, I WOULD wake up still feeling stoned. I always liked that. Not completely high, but so relaxed and ready for anything. Thats how I felt.
I'm an insomniac, so I have prescription to Ambien, at least it was, now its Ambien CR (doctor said it would work better). Anyway, on the weekends I don't take any of my pills, so the only way I really feel like sleeping at all (around 2 or 3) I smoke a nice bowl and watch some Family Guy DVDs, within 2 episodes or so I feel just right for bed.

As for the sleep thing, I always smoke a jay before i go to bed (a good indica buzz will do), cause if not i cant sleep 'til like 4-5 am. Once again its 3:37 and im gonna smoke a joint soon and head to bed. Ive been wondering. Is that insomnia?

MJAH, It's either insomnia or your internal clock is set so you are a "night person". With insomnia, you just can't get to sleep. With the clock, you feel blah during the day and energetic at night, no matter what.
Thank you for your kind words! I'm still adding to my collection of abstracts and articles on MMJ. I'm thinking of maybe doing a repost around New Years. When I list studies in a post, it is from my master copy, so you guys will get whatever I have. :D Keep learning! - Granny:hippy:

Smoking weed during the day helps me sleep at night. The reason is I am so much more relaxed by the time I get to bed. If I smoke it right before bed, it keeps me up. Also, I think I might psych myself out because that high costs money, goddamnit!

i burn, start to watch a movie, and fall asleep about 20 minutes after the movie started, and i have the best sleep, i dont wake up once in the night, but when you wake up you'll feel a bit burnt out, but after a shower you're good to go......
Grow a good indica and harvest it when the trichomes are 30%+ amber, and you've got yourself some amazing sleeping medicine.

Thank you! I think its definately the clock thing, Im really a night person, never liked to get up early. Even sometimes im tired around 9-10pm and it quickly goes away and im wide awake till 4-5am..
It kinda sucks sometimes but i like the calm of the night..

haha that's basically how i feel. 45 minutes to an hour before i'll go to bed. but i love smoking at night time. i prefer to be high when i don't have so much responsibility. the burn outs wear me down.
i love the high of a wake and bake. but it's killer on me. drags me down for hours.

Yep, me three. I love smoking at night, well i live at night like i said just a little above. I forgot to mention in my first post, i smoke one before bed, BUT its true like you said I always end up staying up 45 mins or so and THEN go to bed. I say to myself man what a waste i could sit back and go check out the boards a little..even if i want to go to bed right after i just cant :p
Just now im off to toke one

i always have had trouble getting to sleep, and getting high helps a lot. that's actually one of the biggest reasons i started smoking more, so i can actually get a good night's sleep instead of staying up for days at a time when i had stuff to do. anti-drug commercials always annoy me because of that.
edit: i didn't even realize that the only reason i'm posting right now is because i'm out of weed and couldn't smoke...damn lol
