Hello my friends. I recently opened my mind to life. I was raised in a very strongly Christian Protestant Pentecostal conservative home, values I maintained until around 28 years old.
I tried pot a few times in high school, and the intensity of it scared me. It was overwhelming. Plus I still had a brain full of anti-pot propaganda.
Anyway, I have only recently started smoking pot. Maybe for about two years. At first it was something silly and fun to do which made me kick ass at Halo 2. Then I used it as a stress reliever. I recently started researching medical, shamanistic, and the history.
I am strongly against Prohibition, and the War on Drugs. I realize how much it harms our society. If pot was regulated like alcohol and tobacco, people would not abuse pharmaceutical drugs as much. If pot was legal, there would be a lot of potheads that were formerly violent angry drunks. If pot was legal, there would be a lot of people that cannot find work because they are "convicted felons" with jobs right now. Right now, there are people just like us, happy calm, freedom loving hard working citizens in prison just for having a weed pipe on them when they got pulled over.
If pot was legal there would be less tyranny in the world.
Recently I smoke more for the spiritual aspects of it. It helps me relax and get perspective on my life. It also helps a lot with my ADD, and I can focus on one thing a lot longer.:smokin:
