Alright here's the deal. A friend of mine found a plant growing out of a fallen tree trunk. The plant is fine...almost ready to flower, however. Since there's actually no soil, what kind effect does this take on the plant on any aspect? (potency, size of yield, etc.) ....just curious.:greenthumb:

if the fallen tree is rotting and moist it could feed the plant

as for potency and yeild theres no way of knowing

if its wild then potency is likely to be very low

Well it was in his backyard....over the weekend he put it into a pot because he thought the roots would get trapped in the tree trunk. It had been eaten in some parts by pests as well, but it's still doing okay. It's about three feet tall give or take, and.....well I'll get a pic if possible, but it's not in the tree trunk anymore. I don't know how good it'll do in the future so if any problems occur I'll be sure to ask for advice, thanx !

ask your bro-bra if he sat there toking a bowl and knocked out the "ash" that he didn't smoke, maybe there was a seed in there that didn't pop and burn up, not likely but you never know, it's either that or from bird shit, but I never heard of that...(insert bird shitting icon here)
