Ok heres some what of a basic question but I have been wondering. Where I am at, if you buy some herb, you usually get some "regs". And I am having a hard time finding better strains, because all I hear about is "Regs", "Mids", and "Crippy". If somebody could explain these classifications, that would be great.

Those aren't strains, but rather slang terms for what quality the herb represents.
Regs, I assume, is low-midgrade.
Mids is, of course, mid-grade, and can be "okay" mid-grade, or decent mid-grade. (remember, there are different levels of all qualities, I guess. good mids, mids, low mids. you get the idea).
Crippy, as I have heard, is good weed.
We don't use the "regs" or "crippy" slang terms in my area. We use "dank" or variations of "mids," like "low mids," "mids," or "good mids." And of course, the very ignorant slang term "dro," which means "really good weed," which it usually isn't "really good," it's usually good mid-grade, or average dank.
Like I said, these aren't strains. A strain refers to the variation of genetics in a plant, not variation in quality. Because you can, of course, grow a great strain really badly, and come out with low quality herb.

Respect, and thanks. it seems not many people out there really know what good grass is like.

You're very right about that, indeed. I am so annoyed with the ignorance of cannabis dealers here. They flaunt their "dro," and it might not even be hydroponically grown. Or there could be schwag, and it could be hydroponically grown. It's so annoying. At work I often hear people saying "Oh man, I got some dro!" Well, great, you got some dro. I guess only dro can be good :wtf:. And you're welcome .
