Why is it so much hassle

I recently moved to south jersey shore area from northern nj.

I don't know about anyone else but i find scoring down here impossible, Up north it was everywhere in fact just walking down my street led to aout 20 different spots.

Around here where i am now i havent found not even a nickel bag in 4 months, Due to this i find myself driving 1 1/2 hours north to score risk in that is traveling down the parkway with about 2 oz's anything elss wouldnt be worth the trip tbh.

So is it like this down here unless you are in a crowd your SOL?

Im 30 years old my days of hangin outside wawa or 7-11 were up years ago, Nor do i hang at the boardwalk.

Anyone else experiencing the same problem in south jersey?

I feel yA man lol.. I moved a few years back, and hell if I got a clue where to get some herb in this town lol.. Months back I was going to get my wife a coffee at like 11pm, ran into some kids who sold me like 4 nicks that I rolled all into one monster blunt (fucking swag) and that is about it. Lucky for me I didn't move far from home heh, and I even ended up closer to nyc than before.. Anyways.. yeh no idea what to tell ya, good luck lol!

Yea i hear ya, I can go up north and score easily since i have contacts problem is the risk involved i went up 6 times over the summer and brought down about 14 ounces in the time, But with winter approaching the cars on the parkway become scarce and the risk of gettin pulled over goes up, Something that to me just isn't worth making the trips till the next summer.

About that swag it's good when your on the skids for somethin but man that garbage gives me a headache everytime, no fail.

found a hk or two here but still a lot of difficulty getting actual delivery at the south shore. mostly chasing tails =/ gotta really get the word out to get anything done it seems. nothing like when i was at school in PA this past spring - could get delivery to my door in ~15 mins, good strains too

Closest thing i had to delivery was when i was up north and the guy lived in the downstairs apartment can't beat that.

Yea the shore area is pretty much busted i found some guy yesterday but his shit was filled with nothin but seeds, Guess it's a winter of no pot here till i can go back up north next summer.

winter, tough laws, cops with nothing better to do = huge risk. lots of folks toke and deal down there... used to live in a little place called Mystic (Mistake) Island. Maybe it was the good ole days but i had people show up for band practice with a trunk full of weed on a regular basis. keep your eyes open down that way and hang out at some of the local 'casino's' and bars in those little coast towns...

I'm from the south jersey area n there is buds everywhere. I mean it certainly goes through its drought periods, like anywhere else but if you are having that much of a problem finding sum buds you must be lookin in the wrong place or not talking to the rite people. As far as the quality of the buds around here, there is alot of good shit floating around. I guess you jus gotta get lucky. If you don't know ne 1 from around here your best bet would be to just approach somebody at a mall or something like that. 9 times out of 10 your gonna be able to pick out sum 1 who smokes jus by looking at them. Just trust your judgement. Good Luck!!!

Yeah, Well i'd goto the mall if i was in my twenties but unfortuantely i'm not, When your some punk kid in the mall and some 30 somethin year old guy approaches you about some smoke first thing you think is "cop", I know i would and it becomes a lost cause after that.

I'll stick to my up north connection the quality i get from there is alot better then i'm going to find down here without any hassle and at 300/oz for some haze that's about as good as a deal anywhere in NJ.

I just moved to South J frmo north Jersey also..and i've had no problem getting weed..once you get to know the people you'd be surprised how may tokers there are..i've actually found that they're more here than in the north..

Yeah i know, Back in the day i had no problems meeting people when i moved from Boston to North Jersey, The guy lived down the block from me was awesome.

But friday i turn 31, I work 7-7 most of the time, Have a wife and kid, I don't really know any of the hangouts down here and my age kinda works against me to the younger crowd, Also i don't buy single baggies, Never since i was in college, I strictly cop ounces when i do go and get it, That to makes it hard to get.

Don't get me wrong i still live life like im 18 playing xbox and stuff heh, But when you have a job like i do, wife and kids, Going abouts trying to score becomes a risk, A risk that if i happen to get caught i'd lose my job immediately, Guess that's the problem when you become an old fool like me :P

Gladly weed isn't addictive haven't smoked since july/august so waiting till next summer when i can make my parkway trip up north isn't much of a problem, i'll call it my weed hibernation :)

Man it's been awhile, Been all over and yet to find anything solid, Still taking my ride to up north new jersey every weekend for a 1/2 oz, sittin in traffic on the way back for 3 hours "fun fun".

Don't know guys starting to think you need to be in a special circle to get pot down here in south jersey.

I'm in Plainfield, myself. I ended up going to NYC to pick up around 1/4 of schwag for $80.

You cant find bud in Plainfield? A lot of coke and crack is sold there but theres def a bud market too, my guess is you either dont know anyone or your not black/hispanic and cant simply walk into those plainfield streets feeling like you wont get robbed if you ask if anyone has stuff.

Also, if im not accurately describing your part of town then excuse me. But the parts of Plainfield Ive been too was the ghetto.
