Well when i say football i mean "soccer"...with spains season starting last weekend and england's now 3 weeks...im anxious to see how my fellow football fans think are going to take their respective leagues...this means italy, france, spain, england, scotland, and of course portugal and germany...as well as ur uefa and champions league predictions...who do you think is goin to win world footballer of the year as well...here are mine

Italy- Inter Milan AGAIN!...im getting tired of seeing this but i dont think lazio, fiorentina, ac or roma added enough to compete this offseason..

France- Lyon, they are head and shoulders the best team in France even without Malouda, Abidal and Witford

Spain- BARCA...this is my fav team in the world so i am biased but i think all the money they spent this offseason is going to help...including they had the same amount of points as real last year...they also have the best striking group in the world and possibly of all time...with Theirry Henry, Samuel Eto'o Ronnie and Leo Messi...there are goin to be plenty of goals scored for Camp Nou's finest this year

England- I truly believe this is Liverpools year...Torres is goin to be great and Kuyts game yesterday gives me reason to believe he's ready to step in as a legit no.2 option...plus u cant go wrong with betting on Steven Gerrard as i believe he is by far the most talented midfielder in England...although watch for man city, Erikkson is going to take them to the top 6 soon

Scotland- Rangers, Celtic are a good team...but Rangers added more and have a more explosive and faster team...but I think its a two horse race for this crown

Portugal- Benfica, FC Porto was the most talented team until they lost anderson to man u and pepe to real...they will be great but benfica added more this transfer market but as long as Porto has Ricardo Querasma you cant sleep on them

Germany- Bayern...theyve started off nearly perfect all the while scoring at will...i knew Ribery was ready for a big team after the 06 World Cup were he played as a field leader and was one of the best players at that world cup...The additions of klose and toni will help their attack... Ribery will be named player of the league and i think they will win the league by more than 10 points...their just too stacked compared to their competition Shalke and Stuttgart are great teams but they just dont have the talent bayern has

Uefa- Bayern they have a team that could go deep in the CL so this will be a good prep year for them

CL- Manchester United or FC Barcelona...both teams had the talent to do it last year and havent lost much but gained alot in talent...they will both be in the final 8 and i suspect Barca will take it again...their attack is going to be too much for teams late in the league because they could switch off strikers one game ronnie and leo next theirry and sammy and arent losing a thing in their attack...

WOrld player of the year- this is for the taking...i personally think its going to either go to Ribery or Steven Gerrard...

And look for Messi to win the Young Footballer of the Year award...he scored 14 goals last year on only half a season of being healthy...i look for him to stay healthy this year and break the 20 goal mark at the age of 20 and hes only going to get better...hes got the speed of a greyhound...he looks to have the talent to go down as one of the greatest footballers of all time

thank you...i love me some football, haha yeah they totally trounced em yesterday...6-0 and everything was coming into place...i had no idea torres would move from spain to premier league so easily as he was never that physical in spain and the premier league is quite physical...but with 4 goals in 3 games i think we're in for a show this year in liverpool as i feel gerrard has finally found the striker he needed to take this team to the next level

Well I'd love to say that Arsenal will come out on top in the EPL, but the reality seems to be something different. However, if Theo Walcott comes into his own like he's expected to this year, WATCH OUT.

I actually like the look of the Gunners without that sellout Thierry Henry. Honestly, how he can be with a club that long, then up and leave after one mediocre season is beyond me. And to BARCA, of all places. It's not like he needs the money. But to be honest, he's washed up and was nothing but injury troubles last year. I'd be surprised if he's ever fully healthy again. That, and you could see his ever-growing ego jump in size as the years wore on. I think it's safe to say he's on the downward swing in his old age.

And as much as I hate, hate, hate! Liverpool, they're are definitely looking good this year.
