Hey guys this is my first time posting on this wonderful forum and its great to be here, ok I have been growing a Barneys Farm Northern Lights for AGES now!!! Its on its 10th week flower and it needs at least 1 more week minimum!! If only I had of knew this before I planted the little seeds!! Hindsight is a wonderful thing lol.
Ok I just need your advice on how long I should let it grow for? and a few comments about the plant, and has anyone ever grew or smoked northern lights? what is it like? I have never smoked it beofre :(.
Its growing onder a 400 HPS, using hesi organic nuets, worm castings, Bat guano, perlite, and vermiculite. Plant was in veg for 6weeks and I have had no health problems with it.

it looks to me that it still needs a few good weeks. But its hard to tell... from pictures.
your best bet is to check the trihcombs... You can do a search to find out what signs you should be looking for ina plant ready for harvest..
it doesn look nice though...
good work..

Thanks 4 the comment KD, I think your right meby another few weeks. I might get the microscope out and have a closer look.
What gets to me is the pics I'm seeing of northern lights, they are covered in trichs and mine isn't lol
I had the plant in complete darkness for 1 week at 3 weeks flower as I had to go on holiday could this have affected the prolonged flowering and less trichs?
Peace

northern lights is a very popular strain they like to use it for hybridzing other strains becouse of its easyness to grow and good yield they flower in 45 to 50 days go out and get a 50x magnafier or more and look at the trichomes they should be pretty milky by now

looking sweet....get a magnifying glass asap to look at the trichs
10 weeks flowering you ought to take a look now!
if the trichs are clear they're not ready
if they're milky - it can be time if you want
milky and some are amber - def time to harvest
mostly amber or all amber - very late, thc is breaking down

Most definitely! She probably did not like that very much. Doesn't look bad now though so I think she's getting over it.
