whats the power of the microscope i need to buy in order to check the progress of my trichs?

30x or 60x I prefer 30x myself = it's easier to see a bunch of trichs to base an average as far as %'s that are clear - milky - amber .

It's a USB microscope,...
The problem I see is that it's only three magnification levels... 10x, 30x, and 200x

200 is way too much.
10x is 'cool'... but not useful
30x is much better
40x would be perfect, IMHO

I got the 60x - 100x and I have a hard time using it.

I also have a 60x-100x radio shack pocket microscope. It is very difficult to use but from what I hear, very necessary. A leaf has to actually be cut off and place down on a flat surface for you to focus in on the trichomes. Holding it to the plant itself is very unfruitful.

yea i prefer my jewelers loop to my 60-100x radio shack one....but the 60-100x is cool if you want too look reallly close.
