Affirmative action is reverse discrimination. It's a flawed policy that needs to be removed.

Affirmative Action had it's time and place, however, it has outlived it's usefullness. During the 50's, 60's, and even the 70's discrimination ran rampant in the job market (and many other places). These days the smart companies only see the color green.

I see now that so many people on here just get it. I am on the other side of the fence. I don't think people know hard it is for us non-whites. Not to sound raciest at all, don't get me wrong. I my self had to bust my ass three or four times a hard as my other friends just to get to the same spot. I took over a security dept for a large building in downtown Chicago. There where serial people who just ass good as I was but I have the funny feeling that the only reason that I got job is because I am Black. Just here me out. The guy I just replaced is white. Ever since I took over I have to switch offices twice each time to a smaller one. Every time I come up with a plain it is shot down just to do something stupid. Then in the end after they fail they use mine.

I don't want every to say fuck that it is equal now. When it not. I wish I could be looked at the same. I truly am one of the smartest people in the building but just because of the color of my skin. I get looked at, treated and even talked to different. There is a reason why Affirmative Action is still here. I think it's suck , in 2007 we still need it. But in the end we still do.
