I found ALOT of Cannabis growing in the woods, WHAT SHOULD I DO!!

Ok,
I happened to stumble onto a feild with around 100 diff cannabis plants of all diff ages and sizes.
It actually doesnt even look like it was done on purpose due to the way that there are a few big BIG mother plants, (about 15 ft tall) and then other plants about 6 inches tall, and other plants scattered sporadically around the mothers from their size on down to the ground.
I realize that I am INSANELY lucky to have found this and I dont want to fuck it up. Some of it looks like it is ready to start curing.
Here are some pix I just took out there, please let me know what you think and what I should do!!

Like I said, it doesnt look like this is anyones. They are sporadically spread in this area and look like what would happen if the "mother" plants just dropped seeds and the plants just grew around it.
They are literally almost in my backyard, about 20 yards outside my property, if that, and this is city owned land.
Plus their location is all wrong. That is the main reason why I think that this was a happy accident of mother nature. This would be an extremely stupid place to plant weed to grow, you can basically see it all from my street. Noone would plant it in the open like this.
It also doesnt look like they have been moved, groomed, trimmed, taken care of or even looked at until we got there.
These are getting so big (some of them at least) that if we dont do something about it and camofloge them, someone who we dont want involved will probly see them and call the cops.
So yea, it is not like I am trying to steal someones crop that they have worked hard for, noone has touched this shit in forever and if we dont do something soon, the cops will get involved Im sure, they are way to big not to be seen!!

Leave em alone. Most of them do look male and hermie. If you want check there every once in a while and if no one harvests, if you were REALLY dry, then you could harvest a hermie or two, but it's probably just wild HEMP. Especially since you are in the midwest.

if you're in the midwest, and it's anywhere near a railroad track, it's probably hemp plants, not worth touching ... if it IS marijuana, very unlikely it grew by accident, so don't touch it ... :smokin:

That happened to my brother, and he wished some thanks to the people who planted it, then he harvested it (it was reasonably ready, probably would have been harvested within the week by whoever planted it). I mean, what's the point in buying property if any Tom, Dick and Harry get to set the rules on how it's used rather than you, the one who paid for it and who is responsible for it if the cops come? So, in that circumstance, I personally agree with my bro's decision. Not to mention, he gave me a fat bag of that stuff, and it was really quite good. ;)

i say if there is some smokable product, take some. not all of it, but some to smoke. if you can see it from your house. scope it out. see if anyone comes, then i they dont and the bits you took to smoke get you high. harvest it. pollenate some more plants and spread any seeds you can find around.

then you can have some free dope

Sure take'em and smoke seeds cause thats all theres going to be. When I was a teenager I used to grow plants really close to open areas and never got them stolen, and man I would have been pissed if someone would have gotten all of my hard work.

They look like a bunch of males, hermies, and maybe some hairs. Honestly, think KARMA. It's not yours. If it grew there wildly, It's probably wild hemp and it will not get you high at all. If someone planted it there, I can guarantee that they haven't forgotten about it. Even if it is all seeds and male pollen pods. Not on your land, you totally didn't plant it, and it won't get you high anyway. I'd say, it's not worth taking the chance in stealing. Karma is a bitch sometimes...

Kinda what i was thinking,lol! Anyway though you should just leave it alone. Even though i think its hemp, it could be someone else's grow and you dont even know what kind of person you could be dealing with!

I mean you should know though, i have walked up on some hemp while camping and that shit looks horrible. When my buddy called me over to it, i immediately knew it was hemp it looks like trash. Hey though at the end of the day its your decision, do what you want, but if i was you i'd take the advice that some folks have given you today!

Hey, I dont know if this is going to go right to the person I mean it to go to or just end up at the bottom cuz I am new to this site but I would like to thank everyone for their responses and advice and I would like to tell the person with the Hunter S. Thompson quote that they kick ass.
He is literally my hero. I was actually right in the middle of writing my "Hero Paper" Grad standard my senior year to pass english class, I obviously chose him, I get almost done with my paper, and my hero goes and blows his head off. Hey I dont have all the hoytee toytee morals of much of the group but if it was me I'd take some of the seeds and leave the herm and dude crop well enoff alone. You don't want the cops to see you with them and get arrested for somthing you can't even smoke. Also if it turns out to not be a hemp farm you now have a place for free seeds.

I'd put some of the seeds in the ground well enoff away from all that uglyness that is the "crap crop" field. How ever I would not spend a dime on any thing. see and pray that any just might go female, kill any seed that go male or herm. And see what happens. worst case, you spent a day watering and planting seeds.
But best case, they end up not to be hemp and you can start really growing from there.

But this all should done with the understanding that you are doing this for fun. And not expect anything good to happen other than getting a smile and killing some time.:thumbsup:
