yeah yeah yeah i know i spelled that wrong so i read a couple of posts but didnt really get a clear answer
dose swallowing smoke make u sick/puke ? cause ever since iv herd of this iv been freaked out ever time i swallow it so dose it make u sick ?

I guess it could make some people sick, but I don't think that's a common reaction. By swallowing smoke, you're also swallowing air along with the smoke, so what it's more likely to do is cause you to burp the air back up or have gas later if the bolus of air/smoke travels on down and gets trapped in your gut, which doesn't happen easily. You'd only be ingesting minimal amounts of particulate matter or tars and other chemicals with one mouthful of smoke, and the stomach is a tough place. I'd say there are lots of other things to be more worried about than swallowing smoke. I'm going to move this to the medicinal cannabis/health section.

the best is when you have a burp like 10 mins after any given session and you get the phantom smoke that gets burped up even though u quit smoking a few mins ago...plus ur all high and shit so it seems cool at the time

I have never gotten sick from swallowing smoke, but like Stemis516 said, it is fun to burp out the smoke like 15 minutes later.

Swallowing smoke sucks but I don't think it can leave any longterm effects. Right away though it can make you gag.

yeah i actually try to swallow it sometimes...the taste doesnt bother me as long as its not a blunt...and i feel that when i exhale the high that follows is stronger than if id have just hit it normal...normally im ripped by the time im doin this so i might be wrong

I sometimes unwillingly swallow smoke when taking large bong hits, and that usually makes me feel a little uncomfortable/sick for a few minutes. As other have said it does not cause any damage; it just feels bad. Solution: drink carbonated sodapop and burp till you feel OK...burp!

I do it cause I swallow water down and the smoke goes with it. After swallowing the water, I exhale. This process only takes a few seconds total. I don't know if it's because of the water, but I've never experienced a smoke burp. And I swallow big ass hits more than 50% of my tokes! The water enables me to take a much bigger hit which gets me stoned out of my ass! :D

I have a friend that swallowed a huge bong rip because he hiccuped, couldn't burp it out, and had to go the hospital because his stomach hurt so bad. You should usually be able to burp it out though. I don't know how much smoke you stomach can absorb. Kind of funny to burp weed smoke, but it's a waste to swallow it.

I have swallowed smoke b4. but i have also hiccuped when i was takeing a hit off of a joint cause i was drinking beer at the same time. i tell you what tho, it hurts so damn bad.. it gives you like the worst cramps ever. and your chest feels like its cramping up as well.

My friend said it was because I eat so much and I already have a fast matabilism, and weed makes it even faster, so that could be why i shit so much. hahahah.

p.s. im not that big of a person- 6 foot, 135 lbs.

when im smoking inside i can ghost pinchies or smaller bowl hits so nobody else notices but other than that there is no reason to be holding the hits in forever. after 5 or 6 seconds the smoke won't do you anything but damage so just exhale it

You swallow the smoke every time you inhale. That shit goes inside your body, doesn't just go up in the brain, but also goes down to the stomach. But it doesn't make you sick, it does calm the upset stomach thou :thumbsup:
