i was just wondering

i just was thinkin bout high school (i just graduated liek last year)

and i rembered in 9th grade
me and a couple of other freinds where standing in the "smokers spot"

no one was smoking or anything

but i was juss chillin and the resource officer told me to empty my pockets now i had nothing on me to hide or anything so i had no problem emptying my pockets letting him pat me down and even look in my hat

the best part was that out of this we made the officer do 75 pushups lol

but anyway i was just wondering if i had to consent to the search now that i think about it and am more aware of my rights
but i rember talking about rights with my grandad and he said something along the lines of when you stepped foot on school property most rights were taken away

i also just realized he was profiling

so i guess the question here is
on school property do you have the same rights to refuse searches?

i know that you lose most of your rights once
you enter a school, but im pretty sure you dont
have to consent to a search if there is no probabal
cause,, unless they want to search something like your locker.

schools can not by law search without your parent there withth there permission and minors dont have too many rights anyways
