Mini Caddy (http://s178454875.onlinehome.us/mini_caddy.htm)

The main concern is whether or not it's large enough. The whole thing is only 3 feet tall. But from what I've read, with a combination of shorter strains, pruning, early flowering and other techniques, it's possible to keep plant height relatively short. I'm also worried about the roots having enough room. But other than that, it looks pretty darn nifty.

All of the accessories are really what makes this appealing; it comes with a 400 watt MH bulb, and a 400 watt HPS bulb. A carbon filter, AND ozone generator for odor control. And all of the items needed to grow hydroponically. All for the (not so) low low price of $1,300 (though monthly payments are an option).

And don't tell me I can save money by building my own, I'd rather do it this way. If there is something else out there that is similar, but better, I'd love to hear about it. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

if you can do it it would be good, most everything is included ready to plug in and go. if you can spare alittle more head room id try to go with alittle taller one

i myself would like atleast a 5ft tall room
good luck

From the same website, I found a similar box (it's almost exactly the same) but it's 6 inches taller, so this is the one I'm looking at now.. I think I'm going to go with it, I just have to wait for them to e-mail me back to answer a couple of questions for me.

I'm still concerned with the relatively small height, but...I guess I may have to flower early. Does anyone know what the smallest height can be that you can go into flowering? It's my understanding that the plant can grow an additional foot after flowering begins... And another concern is how close the light is going to be to the top of the plant! I may be cutting it really close here...

I flowered some 3-inch clones after only 2 days in soil, and they're more than 3 feet tall now; plants can grow waaay more than a foot in flowering. ;)

as long as you know its female you can flower when they have good healthy roots. and for the light and heat it would prob be best to have a aircooled hood/tube.
