Buying a Roor

Well I'm leaving for college in a few days and manage to save some money on textbooks and have about $200 to blow. I've always wanted a Roor, and now I can have one without really needing to hide it. In the midst of my shopping, I realized there are a bunch of bongs by Roor. I've narrowed it down to two models and would like to hear some feedback on both. Its a battle between the Ice Master and the Zumo. Anyone have any input?

Well, as you know, Roors are the sheit! Just make sure you get the .de (German) version, and not the cheap knock-off US ones. Check out everyonedoesit.com, as that is where I got my last two Roors from and you can't go wrong there.

As for what you are considering:

Not exactly sure which ones of these you were looking at, exactly, but with the Zumo, you are going to need to spend a bit more than $200. You also need to consider shipping as well, so it will run a bit over your current budget.

Both of these are pretty bomb. In fact, most all Roors are, but it all depends on your needs and wants.

And, yea, if you have some more cash, definitely go with a diffuser as well. I just got one from EDIT, and it *really* made one hell of a difference!

i have owned an icemaster and i can say that it kicks ass
friends will be jealous somewhat and people will always want to smoke you out to use your piece
its a great investment plus its a roor

i got a RooR ice master 5.0 *sounds like im talking about a car* if you smoke bongs their is no comparison to a normal non glass on glass but if you got the cash try a diff company all that matters with a roor is the glass on glass fittings...

a roor for 200 bucks is like un heard of unless its about 5 inches tall I recomend something cheaper and better

I made a mistake typing it out. My budget is about $350 including shipping. Just some background info. I've been a long time blunt smoker but have began using friends' bongs and must admit that its a whole new ballgame. By nature, I need the best of the best. Roor is what's up.

roor is by far the best crafted bong out there. flawless design, perfect shape, and great hits but they over charge u. lux, which is a branch of roor is a great bong manufacture and is much less expensive. also phx is great and MUCH cheaper. the craftsmanship isnt perfect like roor but still very high quality. if u want roor only, go for it, u cant go wrong with there bongs but imo phx or lux is the way to go. heres a picture of my phx which was 360 including the ash catcher. this same bong which has the same glass thickness thats made by roor is 500 big ones...not including the ash catcher. o and a lot of times roors in local head shops dont come with diffuser stems which kinda sucks since diffusers clean the hit and make the bong 10x smoother. hope this is helpfull to ya buddy, happy shopping :thumbsup:

I agree that phx or lux are just as good, you and your friends wont really notice the difference and i had a 14" american roor with green lettering and a round bottom, it was like one i hadnt really ever seen befor but i got it for 150 with a diffuser and i swear the thing made kids throw up it riped so hard

Well the deciding factor ended up being the actual size of the bong. I realized that although a 3' bong would be awesome, its not practical. As suggested above, a went with the custom red 3.2 Roor. It came to just over $200 shipped. I hope I have it before I leave for school this Saturday. I'll be sure to let you guys know how I like it.
