mushrooms growing in potted plant

i discorvered mushrooms in one of my indoor plants.....too moist maybe???
the soil is potting soil...dunno what to think..I pulled the little shrroms out and threw them away

Yes, too moist. Unless you're growing in cow pies and they have purple tops.

lol, nope...no purple tops....
man, i felt the soil, and it was really dry.....and that was the only one with mushrooms....well, thanks for the info

Please stick to talk of legal mushrooms that may be growing because of excess moisture or any other ideas why, not any other type of mushrooms or infractions will be handed out. Remember the forum rules. Look them up if you have to.
