Hi everyone, loooong time reader, first time post. i am trying a simple grow in the back of my closet and would like to hear any thoughts. thanks.
- I am starting out with just the agro bulb until the seedlings emerge, then switching to more lights as they grow.
-Organic soil mixed with little bit of top soil
-distilled water
-miracle grow nutes
-3 26 watt cfls(100 watt output ea.)
-1 agro grow bulb
-...bagseed (very DANK)
***if pics dont work: grow area= 1.5ft x 2ft x 3 ft***

i'd add some perlite to your soil if it doesn't have any mixed in already....
not a fan of miracle grow stuff although it can work....fox farm liquid nutes are amazing
dont forget to get something to test your PH and also make sure you have a fan for ventilation

Go to the dollar store and splurge on an aluminum turkey pan. It will be way less hassle, and safer than the shoe box.
3' is pretty short, but if you flower at 14-16" or scrog it to 12" it should be enough.
If you're going to use MG nutes, be sure to flush your plants well before harvesting.

i do have a slow blowing fan and a vent hole at the top. a couple of them are about an inch high and blooming their first pair of serrated leaves, but they seem to have slowed.
-I have them in cut out bottoms of plastic water bottles with about 2inches of soil depth; is this the reason why their growth has slowed?

I haven't built my cab yet, as I am pretty lazy. Just waiting for a weekend that I can go and get everything. Oh and yeah you should do SCROG. I might do it, but truth is I don't think I am too concerned about yield so I probably won't.

Its natural for the plant growth to seem slow when they reach the current state that they are in, well this is jut my own personnel experience. I would not use the miracle grow if at all possible. My friend and I grew plants cloned at the exact same time from the same mother and he used miracle grow and i used GH 3 part and my weight was about 4 times his.
