I have a waterfarm with 4 modules attached. I just checked my ppm in each of the modules and they are all over the place. I check the ppm in the 8 gal. res. and its dead on. I called the store and the guy told me to attach an inline pump from the last module to the res and put on timer to help circulate the water every hour or so. In the meantime, I put a T on the last module and ran it back into the res thru the overflow tube. All the lines are level and the nutes flow. However, this is not what I was expecting to do. Has anyone else encountered this or have a nice solution to make sure all of my plants are recieving the same ppm thru out? I can keep it the way it is, but I want to make sure there isn't a better way. Thanks.

i have noticed that the smaller the res the more the ppm go up and down i think u will have to do as he says to keep the nutes mixed up i don't know why that is but i have mine set up in a 30 gal dwc/areo and after the first adjustment it's good till the next nute change. only other thing is what are u useing to plant in clay balls, rocwool??i now sum u have to wash real good b4 u use it i know rocwool u have to soak in ph'd water and clay ball i had a problem with one time mess up the ppm so make sure u are doing everything right?

Thanks for the reply ... I am using the hydrotron. I decided to keep the last module connected to the 8 gal. res. and check to see if there are any fluctuations. I need to get this right for whats next to come.

THe guy at the store also said the company is going to start selling that system with a pump to help circulate. I guess many people have complained. I will wait and see.

Yeah, when I bought the 8 waterfarms the guy who sold them to me warned me that I would have to check each bucket seperately or set up some form of circulation although the waterfarm ad said you'd only have to deal with the main res. So far I haven't met anyone with the w/f's who "can do it all from the main res" so I think differences in different buckets is pretty standard.

Heres the link ,
This will address almost all probs. w/ the w/f's and how to fix them , even how to set them up to recirculate to keep ppm and ph the same in all farms . It's a long read but you'd be foolish not to soak it all up , it prob represents , 2-3 yrs. of 3-4 of us struggling to perfect them and fix all of Gen. Hyds. design phuck ups .
