I've been smoking weed for the last six months. I started off with about 2 bongs a day, to 2 bongs a session and two sessions a day(day/night).
Lately, the spark has been gone and I actually haven't been enjoying my highs due to slight feelings of anxiety and the emotion attached to boredom. Mainly, I've been feeling crappy because I always give in to the munchies and have little binges on cookies and chocolates. In fact, I've actually been deciding to stop altogether and give it a break for a few weeks in case I may have turned the corner.
Then, today, I figured insted of having four bongs a day, I'll have three. one in the day and two at night (mainly to help me sleep and provide some before-bed fun.)
So, I've had a single bong (let's say 2 1/2 hits per bong) and wow. The difference is remarkable! This is the first time I've smoked one bong, because I started with two and considered that the base minimum I need to get stoned. Couldn't be further from the truth.
This single hit has given me the best high I've felt all month. It's a high, not a stoned, sluggish feeling that normally is the root to feelings of anxiety and nausea. The munchies are there, but not so pronounced and it seems that the flow of free associative thoughts I so love are flowing much more freely and rapidly. It's like they're flowing down a river of water rather than one of mud caused by smoking too much.
I wonder if this is reverse tolerance, like the more you smoke the less you need to get to the same place it was you started at with one of your first experiences with weed.
Anyways, in the sake of science, I'd like some volunteers to only smoke one bong less of the same grade weed they normally do. If you smoke 4 bongs at a time, try smoke 3. Could it be that the effect differences are so subtle, they aren't noticeable? This could be an answer to wallets everywhere...Just smoke less if you find yourself a daily smoker, you'll get just as high for less!
