The setup looks pretty good , but how do you water them , one by one ?
That's the only thing I see could be a pain in the butt , to have to water them by hand.
Other than that they Look AWESOME

Believe it or not, theyre a breeze to water. I have a 4' watering wand/20'garden hose/sump pump combo that gets the job done in less then 20mins every 3 days. Plus it makes me look @ every plant in my garden, so I dont mind

IF 'White Widow' is on your wish-list: White Widow's reputation has suffered for the last few years, as I understand it, because the strain has changed ... when the original breeder, Shantibaba, left Greenhouse to start his own business with Mr. Nice, he took his mother-plants with him ... that's why they say Mr. Nice's Black Widow (WW, renamed) is the best 'these days' ... anyway, Joey Weed, a favorite of mine, has White Widow seeds, that he maintained, from the 'Original' Greenhouse White Widow (of Shantibaba's) ... so, it should be VERY good, in all likelihood ... Marijuana Cannabis seeds at Hemp Depot Shipped Worldwide (http://www.hempdepot.ca/seeds/joeyweed/WhiteWidow.htm) ... hope this helps :smokin:

I was wondering how many oz dry weight per plant you get off this set up? Also what is the listed watts on those HPS you have running, 400 or 1000? You said you have to battle smell, do you use a carbon filter? In fact can you list all the specs on your grow set up? temp, nutes, fan CFM, # of plant, watts, ect. Any recommendations would be better and more accurate if we had that info. Looks good and healthy, good job!!!

Ok so you want specs?
-6x1ooo watt hps
-36 plants under each light
-using DutchNurientFormula bloom A+B with a little molasses
-current temp=82 but will be down under 80 within the next 2 weeks
-humidity=30-40%
-exhaust = 5ooo cfm
-intake =5oo cfm
I only have to battle smell durring the last 3-4 weeks or so, which I have a charcoal filter ready to hook up.
Im hoping for 2lbs or more, last time I only got 1 lb per, but I learned alot since then.
heres a couple updated pics..white rhino @ 2 weeks flowering, just trimmed off all lower branches tonite, ions?

One question though, what brands of equipment are you using? Are they universal meaning I can get them in the US, RUSSIA or anywhere else?
I asked in the lighting section but I havent gotten any solid answer. Im sure that with the high technology of HID and its expense, you can be had by some shady people for crap equipment or you can get the best for similiar prices.

Thanks but Im looking at electronics.
Digital ballasts, silent fans (is there such a thing? hahaha)
The one thing I noticed with your pics is that you dont use a cool tube setup.
Why? Wouldnt the cool tube really keep your grow at optimum temps? Wouldnt it make it a lot easier to use a smaller fan to vent when you needed to?
And is no one really afriad of the big bad wolf when running not 1 but 6 1000w lights and youll be using fans?
The amp draw by itself has to be insane. 600w lights draw 5 amps each so I know your really pulling the juice.
Just kind of curious why everyone is so quick to be worried about electricity bills arousing suspicion but you guys run so much equipment.
oh and am I retarded? Is there a pm function or not?

You are talking about alot of money... a cool tube for six plants would a bitch to set up. And really the set-up he has is great. It is doing extremely well. But I do like those "smart" ballasts, You save electricity and at the same time they put out more light. AND!!! you can use a Metal halide or an HPS interchangably. Those are cool and only like 150- 200 ea.
And I think he is in canada which the law enforcement up there is looking for the BIG COMMERCIAL growers... But i'm sure he's still kinda nervous..
Suspectelite
09-09-2007, 05:54 PM
just to clear it up for ya, 1000's draw 9 amps each, & Im probably drawing another 10 for accessories.
But, if you think about it, why would your hydro supplier tell the man that youre giving them all kinds of money, seems to be to me that the hydro company has to be makin a fuckin killing off of all us growers, and if we all quit, imagine the loss in revenue for the hydro company. I know for a fact they [hydro company] dont care here in Canada as long as you keep giving them your money.
I also know a few older guys that showed me a couple things, that have been growing of off the public hydro supply for over 10 years in the same house, with double the lights that I have with no problems! So................................................ ..

Wow.........thats alot of amperage regardless of what youre doing.
Thats a dedicated line at the minimum.........probably two 30 amp dedicated lines to run the whole deal.
I am impressed with that though......I thought for sure that anyone using 8000Kw a month would be a target for certain conspiring eyes.
Seems that while one can never be too carefull........there is sure a bit of over-paranoia
I dont think running ducting for six lights would be hard.........I could easily see it being rather easy.

Oh I have ventilation comin out my ass, 5000cfm exhaust is blasted directly through a roof to outside & 1000cfm fresh air intake sucking in through an open window.
I do have a 6'' flexible duct hose to direct half of my fresh air to the other end of my room where its needed, I forgot about that 1 small piece.

thanx, a 1ooo gives off alot more lumens which also makes it hotter, but raising it up eliminates the heat problem, & widens the spread, giving me pretty much the same ammount of lumens per square foot + a wider area to grow in.

these plants are clones from seed & are from 6 bifferent WhiteRhino mothers, so after them budding for almost 6 weeks Ive decided on keeping 1 that produces the largest flowers, & the 1 that produced the most resin.
sorted through all of my flowering plants and removed the crapiest 36 plants to make room for fresh new babies, all from the same mother plant. Man I cant wait to see what this table looks like half way through.

Leeching, is the process of saturating the growing medium and the plant with pure water, & is a must, unless you wanna smoke chemicals.

that sure looks like a hell of a lot more than an OZ per plant, more like 2oz's per....
Looks Awesome.. i'd kill for a room like that :)
I found some White Rhino and Widow Pics in a 1x1x1.8m grow tent... not quite the same scale as yours... what do you think of them?

so if you have 36 plants under each light, you got less than 1oz per plant. man, it's a great grow and all but you should be getting more then that per plant I would think.....
