Now I had some yellowing leaf problems, and I was told not to bottom water anymore... I was also told that my problem sounded like overwatering. I read just last night that water gives leaves rigidity, and I realized that all my plants have hard leaves... Not at all what good healthy ditch weed feels like... Am I still overwatering? What are hard leaves indicative of??

Two of my plants are in containers smaller than the plant itself... One is actually in a styrafoam cup that has a rim of about 2 1/2 or maybe 3 inches... it dries out in a matter of 12 hours... is it safe to only water it once a day?
I need to learn to post all the info the first time... I swear I always have to add ONE more thing after I've posted...

Sounds like they are rootbound if your plant is bigger than the area for its roots by that much.

Answer as many of these as you can (someone told me I overwatered just doesn't strike me a super info) and maybe someone can help.

Weedhound is right, you need bigger pots, fast ... with the proper size pot, you will only be watering every 3rd day, as a rule ... right now, you are likely in a situation of too wet, too often ... basic growing starts with a well-drained, loose soil, that allows air and nutrients to reach the roots ... avoid soil with peat moss, it is very acidic ... go to a nursery and buy either Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, for adult plants, or their milder, Fox Farm Happy Frog soil for tender seedlings, and add about 25% Perlite to either mixture ... :smokin:
