i read that if the plant had purple on the leaves, that it was deficient in some nutrients, allthe edges of my leaves are purple but it looks and grows healthy as hell! Is there something wrong???
heres some pics.

that looks pretty healthy to me... i didn't see any yellow spots, drooping leaves, curled or browning leaves nor any white fuzz so it appears that you are in the clear... i think the purple colour is possibly the result of that particular strain or some hybrid of purp haze.. i don't know of any nutrient issues that could cause 'purpling' myself... does it smell good? how many weeks has it been growing?

i dont know much about growing myself but i think the purple could just be cuz its cold

8 weeks from seed, this is my first try. I thought it looked pretty healthy its growing like a weed! LOL
i actually had a 175 watt metal halide on it the whole time and burned the tips in a few places but overall
i think its doing ok,(I Hope) It smells brutal! But i still dont know the sex yet. I really cant see any pre flowering but i just took the halide light off of it a few days ago im hoping that will help it start flowering.

What was the plan for flowering?

i think it should be fine.. hopefully you don't encounter any pests, the temp may be a wee bit high thus resulting in your wide and fat leaves due to the humidity associated with the heat.. but i say its a good start for your first time... my first time resulted in a yellow drooped, sad looking plant with spots... if you're going to put it into flowering i, in my opinion would let it flower for 'almost' 2 months to ensure mature buds... like 7 weeks

i dont know what the plan for flowering is?? Im not even sure if its female yet. It hasnt preflowered yet. I thought i would just let it do its thing and hope its done before it starts getting here in colorado we usually get our first snow halloween night.

thats why i was hoping it would flower soon, so i can let it flower for 8 weeks

hm, maybe i got it backwards... more humidity = thin leaves and less humidity = fat leaves .. the leaves soak up whatever moisture is in the air, in your area the leaves are fat because they need more surface area to grab the moistness due to the lack of it, and then vice versa for a high humidity area such as the southern states from louisiana to florida..... anyway 8 weeks is a good choice since the plants haven't shown their sex yet, keep in mind more practice/experience = better dank buds
