YOU NEED MORE COWBELL!!!!
lmao I got a FEVER... and the only prescription.. is MORE COWBELL!!
to answer the OP with my drunken knowledge base which will most likely get trumped by much better and smarter people lol..
1) Because we all start as females.. depending on wether or not us males get the "y" chromosome instead of two "x"s.. the clitoris grows into a penis, and the ovaries develop into testicles. The nipples are there regardless but for females they get mammary glands and what-not.
2) There are a number of bones that newborns have not developed yet, and there are some that they have extra that have not fused into one. The kneecap just happens to just be one of those I guess.
3) The weather is so shitty on your country because you are on a very northern latitude. The only reason it is not shittier is because of a Pacific Ocean flow of water (for the life of my drunk ass, I cant remember the name, but help will certainly arrive soon..), that directs warm water from the Carribean, north to the British Isles. The cold water drops to the bottom of the ocean to complete the current. This entire flow of water depends completely on ocean salinity. When global warming melts the ice caps enough to lower salinity to a certain point, that flow of warm water to your home will stop, and the weather will become much shittier.

Close... but even if you were spot-on I'd have to throw in my two cents, having studied sexual biology stuff quite extensively. :) We don't start out as females, we start out with generic genitals, and then go our separate ways at some point in utero. Also, ovaries and testicles grow from separate precursor tissue. One set develops and the other does not. The undeveloped set stays in our body, but is extremely small and only consists of a few cells. Scientists have found them though.
The best way I can think to explain it is, males have all of the genes that can be found in a female, and females have almost all the genes that can be found in a male. (females don't have the genes on the Y chromosome, but there aren't many there anyway)
Your sex does not determine what body parts you get, but how extensively those body parts develop. Girls have a vestigial penis, aka the clitoris. And guys have a vestigial vaginal opening, aka that ridge that runs from the underside of the penis to the back end of the scrotum.
So the short answer: guys have nipples because we have the genes for nipples. And it's a good thing too, because if we didn't, our daughters wouldn't get them.

My friend, I am glad it was you who posted. I am way too innebriated to have researched the proper medical answer and you were very tender to my inexperienced self! Thanks for the correct information!
