well i have a glass pipe and i've smoked out of it many times before tonight and never had a problem with using my bic and hitting it. tonight i packed a nice bowl and flicked the bic(haha) and fucking singed my eyelashes and eyebrows alittle. can anyone tell me why this happened....

Probably just a big flame or you held it to close to your face.

a big blue flame would just shoot right up the pipe toward my face.:( think i should just try a different lighter? but idk i've used this lighter for about a month so idk why it would be any different...

Yeah, well lighters give off different amounts of fluid, and different sizes of flame, im sure almost every time. It happens, no big deal, Im sure no one will notice. I burn the hair off my knuckles, and singe my eyebrows everyonce and awhile.

yeah stuff burns. one time I was burning the bowl and a little fly descended into the flame and sure enough died instantly. I probly breathed in some smoke from his burned innards. poor guy such a freak incident

dude is your pipe smallish? they call those kinda pipes brow burners. thats why its to small and when you hit it facing downish it burns your shit up i had the same problem. hold it out in front of your face instead of down and it should solve your problem or light the bic away from the pipe instead of on the bowl.

yeah man if your pipe is short.. it surprises me that your not eating the flame.

flick the bic away from the piece and then bring it close so you can inhale and the flames will lick the ganja.. good luck:(
