I was talking with a friend the other night and we were stoned outta our minds...he is a big time stoner and what he said caught me off guard...he said that he wished he had never started smoking as he feels like he would be a completely different person today if that were the case...this has never happened to me as im happy with who i am and where im going with my life...my question to you is, regardless of how u feel about it today and where u stand, have u ever felt like you wished you never started smokign?

Never once, I love my life, I loved my highschool times and now Im taking my next big step in life, and I know that I'll have my rough parts here and there, in the end I'll be alright and succesfull.
Or maybe not, lol! But either way, you only live once, so Im gonna make it worth while, and Ive meet many of great people, some not so great. But its all good.

I don't regret anything I've done in my life, including smoking. Smoking is one of the better things that's happened in my life. It really got me to see things from a different point of view (although I was also in a weird point in my life spiritually and umm... politically, I guess before I started smoking and I kinda was going through there, so it may have just been coincidence that I started smoking at that particular time)

Nope, I really enjoy it and use it responsibly. Therefore I have my priorities in order so its never a problem. My college work is always done on time (usually way before the deadlines), my house is always clean, I always have food and all my bills are paid, my relationships with my family and fiance are great. But when they do start to screw up I can always quit for a few days and fix everything

Cannabis really saved my life. Changed me for the better. Helped me live without so much stress and anxiety. I wouldn't give it up for anything, I would never take it back for anything. Well maybe a few things....

I can honestly say Marijuana has done nothing but positive in my life. I can't think of 1 negative thing that's happened because of herb. It has helped me relax and not stress so much especially. One of the things I will always do in my life until I'm gone is educate people and speak the truth about the good herb. :rasta:

I'm happier then i've ever been in my life. Through the use of cannabis and after learning philosophy i have accepted Jesus (Jah) into my heart. I have absolutely no regreats with who i am today. I praise Jah for the wisdom weed.

im glad to hear that everyone, i had the same reaction to my friend...i cant really see why anyone would not want to smoke marijuana

most people who smoke marijuana are the type of people who are
1. curious
2. SOMEWHAT impulsive
3. critical thinking (i say this because to smoke marijuana you HAVE to do something you were told not to do, and if we examined the situation and went against what we were told on our own decision making, that's sort of like critical thinking and critical acting too :D)
so in my opinion its hard to believe that any of us would have gone this long without trying marijuana somewhere down the line. we were bound for it.
but now the real question and where it gets philosophical is, if we were actually TOLD that weed is good when we were schoolchildren, would we be smoking it right now?

I'm usually one to say that things should be done in moderation because almost anything can be harmful in excess, but I honestly think at least for me that weed is an exception. Besides the money issue, can smoke as much weed as I want and not have anything bad happen. There are a lot of things I regret in my life, but smoking weed is not one of them. It's one of the things that's kept me sane over the years. I only regret not starting with it earlier.

I have regretted it a couple times. I might see where your friend is coming from in a moment of temporary insanity. I regret the hell out of smoking cigarettes, but weed for the vast most part, hell no I don't regret it.

NO REGRETS!!!! Weed saves me from migraines and other assorted aches and pains. It has shaped my personality- I am calm, patient, and loving. It de-stresses me after a hard day at work (I work in Special Education). It has been a positive force in my life. - Granny:hippy:

i love the medicinal qualities of this plant, i think those of us whom are not actually patients with prescriptions can still see improvements in our lives and how we feel overall just with the help of this magic plant we value so much

I don't regret it at all. I'm not sure if I've shared this with you guys yet, but as a child, I was on tons of medicine...for ADD and depresion. I tried a bunch of different types of meds...Ritilan, Dexidrin, Cylert, Welbutrin, Effexor, and a few I don't even remember.
My point is, once I started smoking, I felt comfortable getting off all of the perscriptions. Weed does the same thing for me as all of the medicine I was taking, without the side affects and risks (which is why I switched 'scrips so many times...they all had negative side affects on me).
Weed relaxes me, helps me concentrate, and overall, just makes me a more focused person.
I love Mary Jane, and she will always be my best friend;)

I don't regret smoking.I have had some bad stuff go down because of marijuana, but the good outweighs the bad 100 to 1(note:estimated).
All of my experiences, good or bad have shaped who I was, am and will be. I do not regret anything that has happened from smoking. It has caused me to think more about the world.

I can truthfully say that cannabis has never influenced me to be anything other than the person I am or would be had I never smoked marijuana.
I don't regret it in the slightest.

I don't know, this is an interesting one.
I do have regrets and then I don't. All my life I've grown up on the slogan "Don't have regrets, live it to the max" etc etc bla bla bla...
Since Ive been on weed, there has been loads of problems. That's because of family who don't understand, money wise (spending tooooo much on it), lack of motivation....you know the usual negatives that comes with it. If I didn't smoke weed I'd be bloody loaded, all that money that has gone on weed, If I had saved it, I'd have loads.
BUT
After smoking weed, I've come to see loads of plus's too. I do things that other people don't seem to like? I've seen the truth in people. I've come to see who my true friends are/who aren't. People who understand about my situation, people who don't look down on weed etc.
I look at life in this way. Weigh up the negatives + positives, if the positives outweigh the negative, then you know, fuck that, carry on how you are.
If it wasn't for weed I wouldn't have opened my eyes to the lies, propaganda, dishonesty and total bullshit from the Government + some people.
So? I don't know, if I didn't smoke weed, i'd be the normal sober person, god knows doing what, being 'successful', earning money, MONEY MONEY MONEY, living in that perfect world where no one is wrong. What a load of crap. Doing more good than bad in the end, means more to me than earning loads of money and selling my soul and becoming something I'm not. Fuck money, it comes and goes.
Everything happens for the best. So...NO REGRETS!! It probably sounds like I do regret it, but I'm being honest, in my heart I'm happy, but it may sound different because I can't express my feelings or emotions in words, fully.
:)
