Unfortunately it was a feature of the Cafe Membership thingy that the former owner of Cann.com started.. If you paid for the upgrade you got a few cool features like a private forum, bigger avatars, yadda, yadda... Basically it was an incentive for people to donate to this most awesome site, which some of us were happy to do! :) I'm not sure if any type of membership feature will be introduced now, maybe the current admin are working on it? Who knows? [Queue music from the X-Files]
