What is ya'lls favorite fast food resatuarant out there...to be honest i really can't pick out one distict favorite....breakfast wise i have to go with Hardees (or Carls Jr. for all you west coasteners)...you can't beat the made from scratch biscuits...mcD's has the infamous dollar menu which is key when you are lookin for bud and only have a few bucks for the muchies...i mean 1$ for a double chee or a mcChicken, beautiful...Overall lunch/dinner meal quality wise i would have to go with Hardees, Burger king, and Wendy's because i looooove a good expensive burger from hardees because it tastes soooo fucking goood...but when hardees gets old i love to hit up Burger King and have a good ole wopper cuz they never get old...and finally wendy's has square burgers...what is honestly coooolller than a square burger...i also think the ingrediants from wendy's just seem to tastse fresher...that's my opinion on fast food...everyone please also leave their in depth analyzation of fast food restaurants as my drunk self did tonight lol...peace and happy muchies...

In N Out.

It's so good I don't even consider it fast food, I consider it a step up. Everything is fresh (leaf lettuce, onion slices, I don't like tomatoes, but they're fresh too). Simple menu, simple is better. There are hidden items not shown on the menu, but you just say it and they know.

Oh yeah, the fries. They're from fresh cut potatoes.

Probably the best in my town is Wendys but that is kinda a default win because I dont want to eat at all the other dirty resturaunts in the hood and I dont want to drive across town. But what the hell is with getting rid of the Big Bacon Classic?? I almost cried.

I love Quiznos, for their prime rib and peppercorn sandwiches. Man, those things are the bomb. Kinda expensive though, $10 per footlong, but good quality meat, and lots of it.

In-N-Out has good burgers but their fries suck ass! Jack In The Box has the best Menu because of all the choices and they serve breakfast all day.

I wish there was a white castle round here. I've never had one. They have frozen WC burgers at the grocery store, but y'know...:wtf:

Wendy's is the only tolerable big chain. so fresh and easy on the stomach. Where the hell did their pitas go? Quizno's rocks. Taco time is sublime:eat:

McD's, burger king, etc I cannot comprehend how they are in business. I only eat at those places on road trips when there's nothing else, and my stomach feels like it collapsed on itself each time. Carl's jr. has good burgers, but also kind of makes me sick.
I find no opprobrium in eating fast food like once a month. I never eat the fried stuff though, only the sandwiches

Fast food almost killed me once.... after open heart surgery(quadruple coronary bypass), and doing some research, the *only* fast food that is any good for you is McD's Egg McMuffin for breakfast, and Subway "heart smart" samiches.

A quad bypass at 48 years old is not a good thing and definately something that I don't care to repeat. I am 52 now and have changed my diet, get exercize and quit smoking cigs.

I don't eat fast food very often, but once a year my wife and I do a fast food circuit to get the very best burger, fries and drink of all the fast food places.

Get in the car and go through the drive up at Jack in the Box to get a shake --- they have the best shakes (and for some reason I also like the repulsive tacos they have too). Then drive down the street and get the fries at McDonalds --- good crispy fries! Then head over to In-n-Out for a hamburger --- their burgers are the best! Eat it in the car in the parking lot. Then I turn to her and say, "Happy anniversary, honey! And don't say I never take you anyplace nice!"

I'm not a big fan of fast food but for breakfast it would have to be the sausage and egg Mcmuffin. Bada da da da! For lunch/dinner i'd choose KFC. I love the colonels breasts.

Gosh, about half the restaurants mentioned on this thread don't even exist here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I've eaten at Carl's Jr. and In and Out Burger when I've traveled, but those places aren't available here.

For hamburgers in this area, I choose Whataburger.

My all-time favorite fast-food place is Popeye's Fried Chicken. That's what we're having for supper tonight! I've made the rice and cole slaw to go with it, though, because I can do sides better than they can (and because I don't want my husband eating their beans and rice--that could spell real trouble tomorrow).

wendy's has the best burgers, methinks, (had the baconator yesterday, kickass), but their fries are usually soggy. overall, I think burger king is the best- that's where I always go when I have the munchies

Are you talking about Adalbertos?

Haha! I used to live in San Diego, and I remember when they opened Alberto's years ago --- a tiny little seedy funky drive-through Mexican place. It was so good that someone copied them and opened a Roberto's, then someon opened Humberto's. After awhile we used to just say we were going to Berto's. Now there is an Adalberto's?

We used to get so high and go there. You could never understand anything they said through the speaker:

"BLAHHP!"

"I'll have a carne asada burrito and three rolled tacos with guacamole."

"BLAP BLAAAAHHHP!"

"Yeah, I'll have a large coke with that and extra salsa."

"BLAP BLAP."

Then you drive up to the window and there it all is. Better check it before leaving though.

Once we went through the drive through, held out a joint and asked, "What can we get for this?" Man, they just started shoving food out the window!

One time in the middle of the night I was coming home from work, drove into the neighborhood, and it was totally dark --- total power outage, no lights anywhere, which was kind of trippy. Drove through Alberto's, and there were 6 Mexican guys still there using 1 flashlight to serve food. Awesome.

One time I got a machaca burrito, took it out to the beach, was eating it, and bit into something squishy and minty flavored. Spit it out, and it was a piece of gum! I nearly barfed! Still went back a week later though.

HAHAH!!! You are DEFINATELY talking about Adalbertos then.

MySpace.com - Adalbertos Mexican Restaurant - 99 - Male - US - www.myspace.com/adalbertos (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=149823754)

It said that it first opened in SD in 94, then opened in Sac a year later (wich is where i stay at)

Many people don't know that it has a -dal- in adalbertos

I think it's a different place, bacause I was going there before '94. I went searching for it on the web, but I can't find an Alberto's with the right address, and the Alberto's website looks too slick --- this place was funky. I found a Roberto's that looks like maybe it is the right location, and the picture looks like I remember it, so maybe one Berto bought out another Berto?

I think this is the place: Photos For Roberto's Taco Shop | Yelp (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/-R5BptII1_UaNeorvit5GQ?select=22_NdSMUC4iK0Bw65PgB2 w)

They used to have at least six guys working in that little tiny shack!!!

Wendy's. It is, IMO, the very best. It's also Zagat-rated. Isn't that surreal?

I also think that Culver's and Hardee's are okay.

Oh, I also have to weigh in on the all-time WORST fast food restaurant.

The WORST fast food is definitely Sonic. Hands-down. I only went once, but I threw out everything after one bite/sip. Also there were dirty needles on the bathroom floor.

That must have been something screwed up with that particular restaurant. We don't have them here, but every time I go out west (which, lately, has been about every year), I go to sonic at least 3 times. The food is usually amazing, they bring it right to your car, the people speak fluent english, what more could you ask for? Plus they have a billion types of drinks.

I'm going to have to say Rally's aka Checkers. Not sure if you can find them outside of Michigan, but they have some of the best fries your going to find anywhere. Not to mention the sandwhichs....mhm. I love thier spicy chicken sandwhich.

The 'best' as you call it, to me meaning most succesful financially, is Mcdonalds. I like them because they are cheap, they provide hot food, which i don't have to cook. It's usually fast, depending what you order. In my opinion it tastes good. How healthy is it? That depends if you walk many miles a day and work out like i do. Gotta keep a balance.

My favorite: Bojangles. It owns.

Del Taco is pretty good too, dont see too many of those on the east coast, though.

Oh and....
Red Robin is a sit-down diner, not fast-food. And Panera Bread is a bakery/cafe(I used to work there too). A technicality, I know, but that is how they are classified, so they dont count.
