Im kind of nervous about everything, but I am sure all will go as it should...

One piece of advice..don't eat the scrambled eggs..unless you have them scrambled in front of you..scrambled eggs,come in 40gal barrels..and sometimes-strange substances find their way into them...lol.

I went through basic training. If you think its not gonna suck your wrong. It is gonna suck bad for the first few weeks. The absolute most sleep you will get is 6 hours. Alot of times you will go to bed at 2200 , have a 2 hour watch from 0200-0400, then get up at 0600. If you fuck up the drill sargeants will humiliate you and get the other recruits mad at you as a form of peer pressure. The out of shape fat fucks will have it the worst. So will the idiots and the undisciplined. Prepare to wake up drenched in sweat, with mosquitos biting all the time, and dealing with assholes daily. Then go to Iraq and die or get maimed.

Just as a warning, i hear the military is enrolling to kill of it's people, so that there are more reasources to go around. Kill off the people in wars. I say watch yourself. I see what you're saying Ghost. Actually those are not the two main reasons people join the military. Job opportunities and educational benefits are the two reasons I have come across countless times. I honor and respect those who serve, not because I am brainwashed and believe in everything the US does, but because they are being selfless in their actions. I didn't kill a single person while I was in the infantry, but I did help many people in 3rd world countries, on a great many medical operations. Oh, but the media never shows those, just the war and bad stuff.

Of course I don't. I know plenty of non-combatants who have been engaged in combat, but it is not even close to the amount of infantry. Point is infantry and airpower do the majority of the fighting. When did I say I support this war? I think this current war is bullshit, but I hold the uptmost respect for service members and veterans. Maybe you should read my posts a bit closer.
