Question about power failure

There was recently a power outage that turned lights off right after they had turned on ( I am flowering ) so they had sleeped 12 hours already and turned on for 1.5 hours and went back off ( because of power outtage ) . I turned the lights off so they wont turn on until the next 12 hours of lights were supposed to be on .

Is that what I should have done ??
