Akashic Records (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akashic_records)
Anybody else ever heard of them? I find the idea quite fascinating, and very real. It explains alot if you ask me.
Edgar Cayce (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edgar_Cayce) was an American Psychic who would hypnotize himself and read futures, diagnose illnesses, etc.. he named the Akashic Records as his source of information in one of his trance-like states. He had over 14,000 recorded readings, and remembered none of them. During his readings, he would mention things of which he there could be no way he had previous knowledge of. Some of the diagnoses he made were not even in any sort of medical knowledge at that time, and were not discovered until long after the fact.
Herein lies the "all-knowing" aspect that the founders of Religion mistook as the word of God. Gotta love grand-scale miscommunication, eh?
