This may be helpful to folks trying to determine what they my consider an average utility bill (http://www.cl-p.com/companyinfo/avgbill.asp) of 700 KWh/Month in Connecticut.

That average includes apartment dwellers in small spaces whose bills are lower.
My monthly bill in the summertime is twice that, and it's for a 2-family house (I pay both), my 3k grow, and each unit is a 2br. lol I've got the same supplier that Shov posted, too. NE Utilities.
The trick is cutting down on your other stuff. I've got gas-fired heat, hw, dryer, and stoves that keep my electricity consumption in line, although my energy consumption is slightly elevated overall.
