found an avatar, need help placing it

i picked out an avatar that i like, but i am not very good with computers. can someone pls give me step by step instructions on how to move it to this site. i really am computer illiterate, so i need someone to explain it in great detail. i would really appreciate it. i found it by going to google and clicking on images. i was expecting to just be able to copy and paste it, but they werent the options i saw when i right clicked on it. thats as far as i got......THANKS IN ADVANCE, AND HAPPY SMOKING. :D :D :D

Hmmmm! I'm shity with the PC too but what I did was ~Right Click~ the Avatar you like and then a menu will pop up click on ~Save As~ and then the Av will be saved to your PC. Then go to ~User CP~ on this site and on the left hand side select ~Edit Avatar~ Scroll down and click the ~browse~ button you can then select the avatar from your PC.

yooooo yea i just finished doing this.... so i got it down good :cool:

Go to user CP its at the top left of the screen for the forum. then go to edit avatar and then go to upload a picture and click browes and find were u saved the picture.. the only thing is the picture has to be pretty small or it won't upload so you have to resize it in a pciture program like adobe. IF you don't have anything like that go to


go to http://www.photobucket.com


click on sign up for free

it will come to a page were u enter your info just do that then when u see the payment thing just select free...obviously...

so yea after that log in with your use name and pass then go to the brows thing and it will open a window were u have to search for were you saved the pic you want as your avatar is. After selecting the right pic click upload.

once the picture is up if its to big you'll need to resize it so click on edit above the picture and click resize. If its still not small enough just keep tring until this site accepts it

then on this site go to User CP then too edit avatar and then on the photobucket site after you upload your picture it will give you 3 different links for the picture copy the one thats next to the URL one and then paste it were it wants the link. and your good to go
