friend wants to grow he asks if this is ok

3 42w (150) CFL for veg
6 42w (150) CFL for flowering

2 plants

Miracle Grow organic potting soil for seedling (2 week)
Fox Farm Ocean Forest/pearlite/earthworm castings veg/flowering

Fox Farm Nutes - Grow Big - Big Bud - Tiger Bloom

1 dose of superthrive for every transplant

molasses for flowering

2 week seedling
4 week veg
8 week flowering approx

1 dominant indica
1 dominant sativa


what do you think yields will be?? he will be LSTing heavily

Instead of spending all that money on all those nutrients etc, I'd say put your money on some decent lighting....without that they rest won't do you any good,

Yes, better lighting will help. I use to run 3 42w CFL my self. Now I run 6 42w CFL in the same small space. And you need to go out and buy a HPS for your flowering phase.

with the Miracle_Gro pre-nuted soil, do NOT add any ferts, until you switch to flowering phase ... (or, you'll be back here, with 'help, what's wrong with my plant? !!' ) ... and, lay off that Superthrive crap ... one, or two, drops per gallon, helps with root development ... beyond that, it's all hype and over-advertising ... :smokin:

if you're spending all that money on nutes and fox farm soil....ditch the miracle grow and start with the right soil. it'll cost you less than 10bucks for soil and perlite for only 2 plants
