Would you date a man with one? If yes, which type? This isn't me, but mine looks like this:

I guess moustache rides have lost their charm over the years!

Mr. Moustache in the photo above is a touch too hirsute for my personal taste, but I do like more subtle moustaches. They can be rough on facial skin (and other delicate areas), but I do find a moderate moustache very manly and attractive. Not a twerpy pencil-thin John Waters but not a Nietzsche or walrus-style, either. Subtle and slightly understated is ideal. Nothing that overwhelms a handsome face or threatens to suffocate the lady he aims to apply his lips to. . . . My husband goes through phases where he grows his moustache and always looks quite devastating when he does so.

Moustache? No... mmmm Ned Flanders....
Neat goatee? Yes sir!
Overall scruff (as long as it's even and not too old)? Sexy mans.
Beard? Notsomuch.

Come on, you don't like a man with a little cream cheese in his whiskers? :pimp: What about those brawlers on Deadwood? Magnum P.I.? This is not looking good for Mr. Moustache so far...he means well, but it looks like he has as much chance of winning this poll as Ron Paul does the Rep. nomination...but I am not giving up hope. I will give it at least until Friday until the razor comes out. It took a year to grow. Keep voting ladies!...

Was that a type-o or will your wife really not touch you unless you have facial hair?...and what's wrong with eating some really hairy girl all day long?...I mean, union breaks not withstanding...77% no so far. This is not looking good for Mr. Moustache.

Come on ladies...I know there are more of you out there. I can't shave my baby with so few opinions, however against me they might be. If you don't vote, you can't complain when I roll up on you looking like Ron Jeremy!!!

I wish more women would find this thread...this is a serious life-changing issue for me...
Anyhoo--Does it make no difference what sort of man the moustache is attached to? What if he buys you weed and takes you out to dinner, and doesn't like blow jobs, and folds his clothes and cooks, and is smart, and looks reasonably athletic and handsome...unless it is a trick and you are trying to see if I am the type to do anything a women would tell me to do...I already know women tend to shy away from respectful men who are not over the top macho, but sheesh!

Okay!...hard to argue with that. I just got out of the shower and the hedgehog is gone. Clean as a baby's ass. Thanks for everybody's input. If nothing else I feel a decade younger. I am off to the produce section at the market to try out my new persona.

i used to have some serious sideburns...like joe namath sideburns. and i dont shave during buck season until i shoot a buck or it ends... but never had a mustache, and never will. oh yeah and if i ever have a goatee, shoot me because i have obviously contracted rabies and lost my damn mind.

Sideburns are a tough one. They can be sexy if they are trimmed up properly, or truly, devastatingly GROSS if they turn into fluffy rodent-sized piles of unkempt FUR.

I say keep the stache Tea Party. Just because not every girl likes em does'nt mean that there aren't girls that do. VIVA LA STACHE!!!!

I have a goattee I keep trimmed pretty short, I shave it down to stubble when I do my head, and shave my face at the same time. Then let the face get a bit stubby for a few days, week max. It doesnt grow too fast so it looks alright I guess.

I'd think that it'd be different. One girl wanted me to grow a beard (which I had for a couple months), another dated me for six years with a clean face, both complained when I had stubble.

The stubble pricked their faces. When it grew out or after a clean shave, it didn't.

Thanks for the support, green leaf, but I shaved the mustache a little over a month ago. I miss it, but now I am beating them off with my stick!...wait, no, well, you know what I mean.
