Not while Crist is governor. He's anti-medical I believe.

Florida leans towards the conservative side overall so, I'd say there would need to be a national initative that supercedes state laws for mj to be legal there (medical or otherwise)

I hear Alabama has a MM bill up for vote next session, fingers crossed!
I'm from Panama City, so I could move to Alabama and only be an hour from my daughter here (lives with her my ex during the week).

Geeze, are you guys that paranoid? I realize it can happen at any time, but it kinda takes the fun out of it if you're Paranoid. I smoked for 30+ years, dealt for a good portion of those, probably have moved a few tons of the stuff. Heres the deal, never deal with anyone you don't know well, no friends of a friend thingy and even your friends can turn if they get busted, that is the coppers secret weapon, snitches. Now I just grow enough for myself to ease the arthritic pain from 50 years of manual labor.

Florida has the strictest penalties of any state for marijuana possession, so I don't think they will be jumping on that bandwagon anytime soon.

. . . you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not watching you.
No, mine is more a PTSD thing, but Florida is retarded about weed so staying below the radar is always good. If it were just me then fuck 'em, but I have a family to think about.

Never happen. I love my state to death, but the electorate consists of too many old people and other dudes who will eventually become old people. Damn the I-4 Corridor. Conservative assholes.

I live in South Florida and have for many years. My husband and I discuss this topic and have come to the conclusion that it will never happen. We have very strict mj laws and with Crist in office and all the conservative fuckers that run this state, NO (but I can dream)

Yes, I do believe Florida may someday pass marijuana friendly laws, but that would be predicated upon more medical research. As in, the government monopoly of growing marijuana needs to be stopped. If that happens then medical knowledge would expand, smokeless delivery systems such as vaporizers would then become acceptable, and social conservatives would have less room to make legitimate complaints.
But if that never happens, no.

Many large organizations consider Florida to be a lost cause.
I also hear that state law prevents cities from making laws based on marijuana like denver had done. I have not researched this myself though so that information is hearsay.
