cardboard might not be such a good idea. If you plan on doing multiple grows it could get moldy, and i dont think it would hold the smell in very well when you want to ventilate it. If you want a good grow box your looking atleast 80 bucks. There are some good grow tents out there or you could go to ikea and get a wardrobe there for pretty cheap. Just remember that you will most likely be putting ducting and heavy fans in the side of that thing so the material has to be strong enought to support said fans. Of course if security and stealth is not a big deal for you that you could probably use a cardboard box without to many probs. Just make sure its light proof when they flower.

Security is not problem, I thought it would be a with heat. If I line the box with a liner and then Mylar and seal the seam will I still have a problem with mold? Also I was planning on using a 4 to 6 42w CFL (http://www.goodcommonsense.net/tcp42wasp.html) and a 4 In. In-line Duct Fan (http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100073963&N=10000003+90401&marketID=401&locStoreNum=8125) to remove heat. I only want to grow 2 or 3 plants at a time.

NAH MAN NO CARDBOARD!!!!!!

you will definitely need something stronger than that, jsut think about it, if you dont know already:
- your going to have to hang a light from the top
-your going to have to have other apparatus hanging from the walls
-no matter what you grow in, your gonna be dealing with large enough amounts of water
- you are going to be hooking up live electrical wires in it or around it
no matter how yo cut it , you are gonna seriously need something stronger than THAT type of wardrobe.

i would suggest an actual wooden closet, something that you can get from HOME DEPOT, LOWES type stores. they are refered to as storage closets mainly. thats your best bet, and if your handy with tools , you can configure them how ever you want some extra pieces of woodstock and you can do anything with them.

good luck with your grow, but please no cardboard. **hey igot4cheep you sure that guy is someone you wanna even "kinda know", that he would suggest that wardrobe to you?
